LRMs just make players have to think, for many this is very hard. 2nd It doesn't allow players to charge up the center in the open and park 100m in front of some one and Alpha strike with short range weapons over and over.

LRMS prior to Artemis were fine. After a major issue due to the fail to release ECM. Now... they are so bad you don't see any one using AMS or having to stay in cover.

If you can't use team work and cover to move up on LRMS then you should rethink your game play or.. build an LRM boat and show everyone how you are the best.

I like LRMs, I just wish they weren't the only weapon that did indirect fire. I REALLY hope they add Arrow IV to the game.

I would make them 10 second rechage. 15 tons. 10 heat. With a large AOE style damage rather than doing damage to a couple places on a single mech.

Also a range of say...2 Kilometers and make them fire straiight up into the sky then arch over then straight down (with an AOE damage rather than hitting particular pieces, this wouldn't just hit the head or stuff like that. They would be poor at tracking moving units, but really nasty at damaging units that were just standing still.
