This might be just for XL, but when your armor's gone, you simply die to the next hit.

I think we're going to need more detail, because the whole game is about removing armor so you die. Do you mean... any where?

Have you tried putting on armor?

i didn't die instantly to the next hit, though i did basically anyway due to orbital strike ac40 lrm retardation, but i had a standard.

i'll try this with an XL mech and postback.

also i presume he means you lose your armor, your CT has .000005 hp left, and dies to a single machinegun bullet. if not then i dunno what he's trying to say.

EDIT: yeah, you die instantly in an XL catapult k2.

also worth noting is shooting a commando with 2 ac10s at 60m and hitting dead center does no damage, nor was i able to damage the awesome's head after he overheated and took 40 to it before starting up again. neither of them were moving, so it couldnt've been lag.

lovin this patch.

Stop being trolls geez... after armor is gone there is still internals to go through. You all know this. This is happening to mech without XL engines also. So far it seems to be happening only to Atlas's, unless its happening to others?

When your center torso's stripped, you pretty much die to the next hit, no matter what it is, without an XL. I've been running my awesome, and watched a whole bunch of players now.

Even if it's not instant-death, they've scrwed up someting related to damage. Something's not right. You've never died this quickly before.

The internals are bugged somehow.

Oh so you could have 0 Center Torso armor, take a arm or leg hit and die? That's no good if true.

Sounds like the netcode rollback has magnified your skill deficit.

No, they have to hit the stripped section. For instance, my awesome gets his side torsos shot up, so the armor's gone. Normally, it'd take them a good while to shoot the sides off, but now, they vanish in a single salvo from whatever. This is why when your armor's gone from LRMs, all your limbs magically fly off.

Not really. Are you gonna bet money on this, and blah blah, so I can have the satisfaction of them admitting they ****** up really badly, mister gold?

I can confirm this is happening 100%

All sections effectively have 0.1 structural HP now and will die the second they take damage.

I have no clue how a bug this game breaking can get through even the worst QA

Oh wait, because PGI doesn't have QA,

I love how you, and people like you, try to use this as an insult. I'm f'ing proud to be "gold." And I'll be giving even more money to PGI in the future.

Now... back to how you're dying so quickly because you're bad....

[REDACTED]

it actually functions as if they have .04 structural hp, as they die to a single bullet from a machinegun.

Now, that's not true, I think we're doing a fine job, they found this in about 30 seconds, hehe.

This is terrible.
How did this even get into the game? Why is it in the game? Did they implement 'criticals' on some weapon, but applied it to every single gun, and also made it always hit?

They changed the description for machineguns to talk about 'crit-seeking,' but everything just kills you in one hit once your armor's gone.

So I hear PGI has some serious internal playtesters.

I think you should tell your elite 1337 unit to shoot you until your armor's gone, then you let them tag the location with a single small laser, or a machinegun bullet.

Hay guys, remember how "2.0 DHS" were the "cause" of light mechs killing other mechs "too quickly".

Guess we found the real reason. Wonder how long till we get 2.0 DHS now?
