WOW that MAD is by far the best re draw ive ever seen of the meanest nastiest Mech to ever hunt Locusts and Shadow Hawks. I am a devout zealot of the MAD, nothin like double barreling man made lighting into your opponents from range while you rip into em with your AC. Love the work bro now we need to push this mech back into the universe.

The Marauder is a GREAT! redesign. Don't listen to the nay-Sayers. I honestly can't pick what one of your sketches I like more.

Awesome awesome awesome! Man, this world has some talented artists. So many of your designs are excellent (I'm looking at you, Hollander), but I'm so blown away by the Jagermech. It's recognizably a Jagermech, but actually looks...cool! Keep 'em coming!

Hey ShortPainter -- if you like a challenge, how about making the color-plated Inner Sphere mechs in TRO 3055 look more menacing? I don't have it in front of me, but I think they were:

-- Stealth
-- Huron Warrior (sp?)
-- Apollo
-- NightSky

There's a few more "bad" drawings from Duane Loose's TRO 3025, but let's not dwell there ...

OP: I'll be damned if those redesigns don't get recognition. Outstanding work and seriously big balls trying to outdo the Marauder.

I have to mirror the opinion that its lack of a hunched stance doesn't suggest a predator, which is not such a big deal. Easy to fix. Also, some legs on other Mechs appear to be quite fragile, especially on the heavier Mechs. This is a more serious problem but I'm sure that you can easily fix that if you wish it so.

What you did to the Urbie however, that was simply MAGIC. You turned the ugly duckling into a swan by my reckoning and if you can do THAT, then by all means, outdoing the original Marauder is not out of your reach, definitely not. I don't even think that the Mackie or Imp are impossible to pimp anymore. Never woulda thought that.

Seriously, you got the right hand and eye for such things and I laud your intention, efforts and dedication. Thanks man =)

Marauder: A difficult thing to redesign (I tried myself, looked atrophied and skinnified), but I think this is a very good look. Only request is making the AC-5 a bit more prominent.

Archer: I dunno, it looks a bit, erm, bare when compared to your other drawings. I fell in love with all the radars and fobbly bits sticking out near the cockpits of your other mechs. Especially on a missile boat, you'd need some decent sensors on it.

However-
I challenge you to make awesome the most disgustingly ugly thing EVER fielded. I speak of a refrigerator on legs with shipping boxes for arms. I speak of a mech with a permanent "meh" in its skeleton.

Amazing artwork.

I have always been a fan of the Archer. I love your version of it.

I have to say that your Urbanmech looks like something I would actually pilot rather than the original.

I will probably get flamed but I like your Marauder better than the original BY FAR! The simplicity of adding a "waistline" to a mech so it can actually function as it is supposed to is genius. Making the AC5 the size of an AC5 instead of the size of an AC42 (yes I know that's not a real thing but the original was SO disproportionate) makes me love the design even more. Your mech design makes more sense and I like a bit of realism in my fictional universes
