Well, seeing as most of what will be in the store I expect to be cosmetic, which I don't care much about, I probably won't spend much on that. They might get me to buy a mech chassis that I really like, in the event that they release something like the Marauder or Warhammer or special variants that come equipped with Star League tech in the store.

But other than that, I expect limited use paints, limited use patterns, computer voices, experience and C-Bill boosts per match/day, and maybe things like the glowing Atlas eyes. With the occasional cash-only special variant that has different hardpoints or something like an XL engine.

I have 3, maybe 4 players in the house.

It depends on what they sell. If they sell me Decals at $1 each, I will spend $4.00. Just not sure, I definately want to support them, but for me, it really depends on what they are selling. I'll find ways to pay them...

But if they sell decals and hats, they'll get my money like we got the first pic of the announcement, one pixel penny at a time.

Basically I will save until I see something I need, then I will use the justification that I had not paid yet to buy that thing. Say, a weapon upgrade, or a $15 name change.

I want to do my small part to make MWO financially successful for PGI. If there is a premium membership level that gives me access to all the vanity items, Id sign up and pay my membership even if I dont buy most of them. If there is a store with branded t-shirts, mugs, phatheads, hulagirls, license plates, mud flaps, hood ornaments, adult toys (ER large) then Ill buy those because that's how I roll.

Depends on how well my internet likes this game. In my old house with good internet I spent $4K in about a year on the last mmo I played. Since I moved and have lousy internet now I have not spent any money on any multiplayer game cause of terrible lag. That was also a pay to win game, and I lost more then won lol.

Money for what?

I haven't seen anything about how the F2P system of this game is being implemented yet, so how the hell am I supposed to know what I'll be spending?

I choose 100 plus and why not. MW is a long time passion, I make a good living, why not enjoy the fruits of my labor with maxed out MWO goodness? I also want to support PGI and give them a reason to keep those updates coming. Take my money dammit!

I picked 100+ because I expect there will be some form of premium account that costs somewhere around $15 per month and I don't generally play games for only a few months. It wouldn't really be a change from the monthly costs I've been paying in the past for subscription based games anyway.

I could probably drop 1000$ into it, depending on if I can get enough extras I value to make it worth that much, since money isn't really a concern for me.

Some of us are willing to spend money on MWO itself and don't give a **** what it's on. As I said in my post I intend to spend a minimum of $120 (as my wife and I will each have an account and $60 is a pretty standard game price) and if all PGI offers me is a $60 sticker of Paul's head I'll take two.

I'm planning on spending at least $10, maybe more. It's liable to change, but the $10 is certain, I want my mech goodies :)

I won't vote nor speculate on how much money I'll throw at a game I've not yet played. You want a quick vote? SHOW ME THE BETA!

I'm really picky, so I'll likely spend money very far between unless they manage to find something that really catches my fancy.

I hope they have custom computer voices. I'd drop some cash on that.

Hatsune Miku speaking in Japanese, I'd pay 10 bucks to hear that.

Also, if the material is good enough I really would prefer to spend than otherwise. Someone needs to keep these guys happy and fed; if it's not profitable someone in higher management might force them to give up the game, which would really **** me off, since unlike an offline game, a massively online (simulator) like this will instantly become unplayable the moment its servers are shut down.

It entirely matters. If the gameplay is good, then sure, I might be able to scrap in a few bucks, here and there. If the game goes into the usual "PAY TO WIN" situation that most free-to-plays go, then I will just drop it entirely. I really dislike when games decide that people that CAN manage to pay get to win, seeing as people play these in the first place, because they cannot afford games that cost a lot, or have monthly fees.

Agree with this, however.

Voted $100+

That is, I want to believe that this game will turn out at least decent. And we've been waiting for it for almost 10 years. That's worth much more than the typical AAA title $60. I don't care what I can buy with it. I just think that the devs are entitled to that money if they make us a new decent MW game.

All of it. All of my money.

If it will get me the mech with the perfect loadout for what I want to do, then I will pay what I need to pay.

I can do that for ya, but of course it will be completed long after we are both dead. I'll get those kids right on it after we get those new jet skis!

Spending money on MWO? Buy why? Isn't it free to play? :)
