Can we expect to see MRMs? Are they necesary? Besides its a weapon that had some influence in battletech.

Sometimes its difficult to track your expenses, incomes and XP earnings, more so if you die on a match and start another before the first ends.

Have you thought about offering a button to show an economic breakdown table of the last few (3, 4...10) matches?

Something like

MECH - MAP - VICTORY - XP - INCOME - REPAIR COST - AMMO COST
Catapult C1 - Forest Snow - Win - 350 XP - 120.000 CB - 12.320 CB - 3.400
Jenner F - River City - Defeat - 125 XP - 73.000 CB - 23.000 CB - 1.500
...

And so on...

What do you think?

Why is it that so many major bugs make it past your testers. Like the LRM bug in less than 10 min of play time after patch everyone in our group had already figured out they were broken. The Artemis was kind of the flagship of the patch and yet it was broke so miserably that it became the only viable weapon in the game. How can they repeatedly miss thing that are that glaring.(LRMS, double heat sinks, heat talents not working, glowing mechs.)

1 - what's this I've been hearing about a staging server already up, how do I sign up for pre-release testing?
2 - is there any ETA on the test arena/simulator/sandbox mode where I can safely test loadouts and tweak controls? I'm not asking for exact day, season next year is close enough to make me happy.
3 - on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being completely off, how is MWO's current development doing according to plans PGI had a year ago?
4 - are the cat pictures I've been sending with bug reports getting through or is the support staff hogging them all for themselves?

1) will we have a laser-ams ?

2)do you have an eye on the ppc? its to hot, to hart to hit, and makes to less (splash)dmg..and the minimal range doenst make it a better weapon (not to mention that the gauss should have a minimal range too..but it is not in the game)

3) can you give us a hint for the next heromech? class..faction. price?

4) any ideas about the matchmaker? its still "balance" prefered premade vs pug (atleast it seems so). y not making it premade vs premade and pug vs pug..would be more fun (and challenge) for everyone

5) when will we get more skins (and how many)? love to have different skins on my mechs (like founder an pcgamer)

6) i would still like to know, if we will ever see famous battlemechs like rifleman, maurader and warhammer in the game (atleast the clan variants?)
maybe you can introduce them like hero mechs and the rightowners get 20% of the income or so..i 'm pretty sure a lot of user would spent a couple of bugs to have one of the unseen in his/her mechbay)

7) is the open beta going as you wished (do you make enough money)? so that we can be sure, that the work goes on and the game will be huge when "its done " in 6-12 month (with a lot of mechs, maps, factions and so on)


8) will you rework the lrm? lrm with artemis is now worse, then lrm before introducing artemis

9) will you rework the DH? with 3 slots and 1,4 heatdissipation its whether canon nor usefull in anyway for assaultmechs
(as long as you plan to take some high-heat weapons.. the uber-weapon gauss fits everytime)

10) is there already a plan to fix the lag-shield of fast mechs?

11) any plans to bring arrow IV into the game?
(Fascam or illumination-ammo would be great..or Inferno ;) )

12) skins = are you giving us predefined skins or will it be possibly to compile them at own wish (camouflage, structure..colour and so on).. will there be decails? a giant smiley on my Center torso would be huge :D

13) when will be able to rejoin a game after crashed to desktop? it happens quit often (every 10-15 games) and its even more annoying, that you cant rejoin after restarting mwo.

When will netcode and hitboxes be fixed? Last time you said they were "improved" it only got worse. Lockon missiles are borderline required to take down a decent Light pilot due to this.

will we see more environment changes in the future?
like heavy down pour of rain.
or maybe possibly a night time mode, put randomly on maps so we can use night vision at last :D

1) Laser AMS wasn't in the Innersphere till the mid 3050s. Its 3049.

6) Russ has been on record stating there will be no Warhammers or the like. The source was the recent Kotaku AMA.

What are your plans for player leadership in your community/faction warfare. How will the players influence things, and if we are the driving forces how will we influence what is going on or will there be some sort of election process. I think it would be kind of cool to have a elected leader of a factions military forces.

Dear developers, please tell us how soon realized heavy mech - Marauder. This machine is a very significant and unusual, as well as a very part of the world series of books battltech, really want to see him in the Projects. Thanks in advance, from the Russian fans of the series.

Question: Why is it not possible to give DHS and SHS the same Heat threshold? In moment the DHS are at 2.0 in engine and the SHS are useless. So why not give both the same heat threshold/heatsink and give DHS the double cool rate?

I was suggested so many times. Is there anything against this? I mean SHS can have a good first strike ability, DHS is better in overall cool down.

The situation in moment is horrible from mech building point. SHS is no alternative, engine DHS give bonus to lights/medium, other DHS is not worth. Result of this: Everbody lives with the same heat managment (mainly engine DHS only). Boring and not balanced!

Hey Garth,

hope your doing great. Here my questions to you:

- Can you please increase the maximum number of Mechbays? I do not want to sell my Mechs after I mastered them.

- Can you alter the way Upgrades are handled on Mechs? I can understand why I have to pay the upgrade for them...the downgrade should not cost anything. If I wanted to re-upgrade it again, it should not cost cash again as it does now.

- Hero Mechs, like the Wang, that can never be sold again...should come in an own Mechbay that is free with the purchase.


I love the game you are making, the MC and C-bills sinks you offer need to get more customer friendly, and this "trial&error" in the mechlab should be more forgiving. I got absolutly no problem in donating cash to support this game by buying this and that...but right now it just feels like the cash sinks are to "obvious" if you get the meaning.

*caugh*...this Mech is allready in game...like the Warhammer and the Battlemaster. They are called unseen...each time you think you have lag because your not advancing in your mech...your hitting one of them. ^_^
