I put this together as a reference for my clan mates (prophecy ftw!) because Ohm's guides do not contain this information yet.

I hope you guys and gals also find it useful.

hold your tongue peon, Ohmwrecker was basically the first to go indepth in a lot of areas, this little cheat sheet will only be supplementary to his IMO.

thank you metrocube for this quick and handy guide.

Actually, this is quite handy.
And I second the motion that Ohmwrecker's guides are a godsend, to both new and experienced players alike.

So is there any reason to use FF over ES?

No.

Side question. ES lists internal chassis weight going from 10% to 5%. With the catapult 6,5 we see 3t saving, BUT do we actually get the 0,25t also, since the ingame meclab tonnage display isn't that accurate?

That's a great question, Twibs. I've asked the devs to clarify why they use fractional weights for armor but round to the half-ton for endosteel.

FF is also a lot more expensive on your repair bill than Endo is. So Endo is even MORE better.

Yeah, seemed like Endo was better per critical used, but good to see it all right there in a neat little chart. Thanks.

The only reason to get FF is if you want ES and FF both. For most mechs this is out of the question, but some have enough free slots to get both.
