Currently undefeated in the Proxis League and enjoying a very healthy winning percentage in organized eight-mans, 1st Skye Jaegers (http://skye-rangers.net/1srjoster) are the premier competitive unit of the Skye Rangers.

Want to win with a proven team that has a great record?
Want to play with people that don't act the same age as their shoe size?
Want to cut a dashing figure in cobalt blue?

1st Skye Jaegers want you, then.

For those who are interested in more relaxed play, the Skye Rangers are host to a myriad of diverse, multi-talented regiments. If you're interested in a mature community that supports the idea that social bonds are an important facet of quality gaming, where leaders are accountable and responsible, this is a unit worth checking out.

I've been playing with some of these guys for over a year. I can't say two bad things about the Skye Rangers. Whatever your playstyle, whatever you are looking for, chances are we have it in spades.

Great units and great folks. Like it says in the initial post, quite a few choices in personalities/play styles/time zones with the way the brigade is structured. competitive mindset players willing to do what is needed for the team vice individual scores are welcome to check out SJ1. Also the 10th SR, 3rd SR, 25th SR, and 17th SR have some great shots and usually have bi weekly if not more 8man drops.

This has been the perfect unit for me and my men. The Skye Rangers have a place for you with any play style you desire from hard core tournament teams to more relaxed play for fun regiments. With a great group of mature people it is a place you can call home.

Also, great job everyone on last nights Proxis Victory well done!

Skyraxx placed third overall in the Victor in the 'Assault versus the World' tournament, this past weekend. While his skills are admirable, I think he must have taken a shot to the cockpit.

Come now, you want to drop with swell fellows who top the tournament boards, right? We'll even give out free hugs (just ask GeneralGideonX).

Nothing hugs quite like an Atlas, well, the Victor is a close second, but it just doesn't quite have the same hugging power .. ;)

And who doesn't like hugs?!? Pugging is fun but why play alone when you can play with fun, friendly, and talented people. The game experience is SO much better when you play with a great group of folks. More fun, more social, more successful. For players of all skill levels!

Nice series of drops last night. Nothing like earning almost 5 million cbills in an evening while romping and stomping in my HBK-4G.

I was introduced to MWO a while ago and I spent my first few weeks enjoying myself a lot. However, after watching various videos on youtube and seeing how organised teams played, I found myself wanting more of that. Since joining the Skye Rangers I have never, ever, been without a potential drop companion. I have dropped solo maybe 10 times in the month or so since joining. Most of the time, I just don't want to drop alone, these guys are just cool to be around. It doesn't make sense to me why it took me so long to join really. It's a completely different experience to play on your own, than to play with a bunch of guys, laughing, joking, getting serious when the **** gets tough, and all egging on that last survivor in a 7-4 match.

If you're even mildly curious about playing this game in a more communal. more friendly way, then head on over to the site and check it out. A recruitment form takes about five minutes, and I guarantee it'll change how you enjoy this game.

Plus, did I mention we have some pretty kickass pilots? If you're into competitive play, seriously check out the Skye Jaegers, if only to have the pleasure of watching them go to work.

It's been said so many times here already, but we do have something for everything.

The 1st Skye Jaegers has two drops for Proxis vs The Steel Jaguars tonight. Regardless of the outcome it should be an interesting set of matches!

I think the Rangers had 9 4-man lances operating this past Sunday. Join up and you'll never need to drop alone.

We've got everything from serious competitive Regiments to the far less serious Skye Province Militia - who are some of the funniest people I've ever dropped with. Whatever you're looking for, we'll have a Regiment you'll fit into.
