We should definitely put him to work, Carlson. That's officer-thinking!

Arrachtas doesn't hit us out of spite. It's closer to discipline, only with a stick.

It's not often though.

Nice Falso! Are you taking orders on custom paint jobs? I've got 20+ Mechs I need to have painted :D

Wish I could, but I can't take credit, just stuff on Google (most have been posted already on MWO, hat's off the artists!)

That last Atlas is pretty sweet though! :D

There's a massive, lovely thread in the 'Fan Art' section, about 220 pages long, chock full of Mech repaints. Many of them are in official colors for the Regiment/Mercenary unit. Worth browsing:

I've been playing with some of these guys for over a year and I'm still enjoying it, If that isn't a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is.

Join in on the fun!

Last night I was dropping with some lads from the 3rd when we ran up against a lance from my own Regiment, the 10th. There was a serious amount of scouting and maneuvering, but when the battle lines finally clashed, everything was over in a few apocalyptic seconds - because everybody could shoot.
It was a heck of a fight - and the hardest, most memorable action of the entire evening. Join the Rangers and fight alongside really skillful, coordinated teams - of some of the coolest players you'll ever meet.

Sounds like quite the furball, Malleus.

... and apparently we hand out Unseen 'mechs to new people? An Archer no less?

Come join today, we have 'mechs that nobody else does*!

It's always a good time whenever we bump into another SR unit while playing, be it 4 or 8 mans. The only downside is that I tend to put them at the top of my "To Kill" list for the match.

Even more so then when I see a PGI guy.

This. At peak times Teamspeak may have +12 channels filled with drops, either groups of 4 or 8. Getting that random team-up can be fun, but the versus matches are best.

I still hold dear the memory of my 4 dropping against another Ranger 4 man containing Arrachtas. Our 2 Stalkers flanked, got into position unseen, and called a 12 PPC volley into his back.

WHADOOM!
