6 medium is still the gold standard, ghost heat starts at 7. Heat isn't much of an issue since 6ML fits so comfortably with an XL300, so you can load up on heatsinks, plus you're a light so when you get hot you can just disengage for a bit.

Now that i started playing jenners, i can totally see the difference. I'm currently using the jenner k with 2 mlas, 2 mplas and i totally lose to 6 mlas jenners.
I'm also trying out 3 mlas, 3 splas on the jenner d. Even at 200-300 ms it's a fun ride.

Damn the JR7-F is fun with a 300xl. My only issue is that I can't keep the 6 MLAS on target for long enough to do serious damage and heat up easily. I'm running with all basic efficiencies except TwistX, Arm Reflex and Anchor Turn.
Grouped the 3 MLAS on each arm together for a left click right click punch but I have yet to make any proper kills with this. Getting a ton of assists though and managed to take down a catapult and a few assault mechs in a PUG group of 5 or 6 scouts.
