anyone else got a story about the morons out there when you pug???

just got a crit back shot from a teammate in an atlas and when i shot him to let him know i was upset he decided to anhilate my mech. then he said i was the instigater. kinda sick of the stupidity involved.

Being online has taught me that ineptitude runs both far and wide. You just cannot get rid of stupid.

Of the dozen or so FF incidents i've had 90% have been from Atlas pilots, they seem to be the worst about shooting friendlies. Not to say all Atlas pilots are bad but the majority of noobs pick those mechs cause they think a bigger mech will make them better some how.

That is why the first thing I do when the timer hits 0 is move. Too many people test their weapon groups without thinking about what is in front of them.

Once in Closed Beta, I wound up teamed up with a known Griefer. Basically, this Asshat was in an Atlas, and started killing our own teamates without provocation, then he went for me in my little Raven. Fortunately, I had started firing on him when he started teamkilling (thankfully our opponents actually warned us about his griefing beforehand) so I was able to kill the *****, but not before he legged me, and killed about half our team. We lost of course, essentially a few of us fought to the last, while the rest limped away and let them take our base without a fight. Afterword, we all reported the griefing in support tickets, I haven't seen him since.

I get allies that run off alone to get ganged then killed... after which I am then left outnumbered.

Methinks the ***** was the one who shoots an Atlas in the foot to "teach him a lesson." Sorry, it had to be said ;)

You sir just made my day!

and for the OP yeah it's annoying, especially when some trail assault decides to see what the "Alpha Strike" button does in base...
but you can't shot back... no matter how tempting it may be to core that guy... you need to "be the bigger person", "turn the other cheek" or some other hippie nonsense like that...

if you're gonna retaliate, might wanna make sure you can back it up, lol

when I get 'stupid' FF, I just damage them the same way they damaged me. If they grazed my leg, I graze theirs, etc.

He's still your teammate. What good does it do you to injure your teammate? Now instead of having one guy at 90% health you have two guys.

I feel I must publically apologize, because I lost my temper after nearly get legged in my jenner for the third time in 5 matches at the start of a match and shot back.

The problem I encounter most is getting shot in the start zone by an ally. That is becoming more frequent with new players. I wish the deployment of mechs at the start did not put mechs behind allies at the start of game to prevent this.

At this point being forced to play with four pugs every game my tolerance for pug stupidity has been reached. They even so much as nick me, I TK them.

now the problem is the guy was already on my case for saying we should defend. he actually said that if you don't attack your a noob. not sure if running in all different directions and dying is the way a real warrior would do it but then again what would i know apparently real warriors backshoot there team mates. this was not an accidental attack.

yeah but i don't mind dying in this case because he gets -15000 cbills for killing a team mate and they died so a repair bill as well

Oh man... if you're not a PUG but a team player you should know that sometimes you get friendly fire because of different reasons. Just don't shoot back because of one hit.

You call others "*****" but make actions like well...

Step 1: don't retaliate
Step 2: file support ticket with their name and time of the match
Step 3: hope they enjoy their temporary ban.

uhm? no? I mean...partially correct.

You can of course report it...but NOBODY gets banned (temp or perma) for a teamkill. You might feel better after getting down by thinking that your report is going to change something, but saying here on the open forum that it actually does something - goes a bit far.

Did anyone of you...really...I mean really really...notice anyone getting banned, even for an hour?

So what you're saying is that you have no patience for people learning a game, and blame them for being new to the point where you will ruin their game and gimp your own team, all because the matcher isn't finished. Way to be classy, pilot. I know a whole entire week is a long long time for you, I pity your suffering.

Other day mathc started and an atlas of my team started firing full force upon a friendly catapult .. killing it. And claimed in chat that he did that because the guy was in a gausspult and therefore was an *******.

I claimed that what HE did made him an ******* isntead. And he and other 3 startedf to fire at me. So.. I will not post names.. but there is one self claimed elite group aroudn that is made of ashole losers with this type of behavior. Its a warnign for them.. next time I will take screenshot and post in forum.

I only retaliate when its obvious its not an accident. Like when you turn to see who shot you, and they do it again. In this case, why should I let some little ***** get away with being a typical internet douchebag? I'd rather have the satisfaction of making his repair bills nice and big. But saying that, the majority of the time its just one shot from a laser and you lose a little bit of armour. Thats easy enough to ignore.

there is griefers, and there is noobs...

two completely different things...

even if some one fires a shot off in base that hits you, chances are they are just ******** and didnt mean to hit you, lighten up

FF is no big deal usually... it happens to anyone, pretty sure i nailed some one in the back with an ac20 on my team today... i get hit by lasers all the time piloting lighter mechs because they move fast into peoples fire paths... it is gonna happen, returning FF just puts your team that much farther down

the OP sounds like a guy getting bumped in the subway, so he shoves back and the dude beats him into the ground... accident, response on purpose, and guess who made the real mistake

Yesterday I was in a fight with an enemy Mech and a team mate ran right past me at point blank range just as I fired my dual guass rifles, it blew his head off. I said it was accidental and nothing more was said but tbh I would never dream of walking between 2 mechs that were in a fight.
