A 360 strip would be awesome for FFP to help with that blind spot behind you, of course it should nto be as clear as the view screen. Then again 3rd PV should not allow you to see what's on the other side of the hill or arouns corners untill your sensors actually are above or around said obstical.
Let's see what the DEV's can come up with that would improve the diversity of game play and things that work we keep, things that don't we let them know and usually they will fix or scrap them.
No. Everyone will be forced to play 3rd person=ON once it's added. The way it works is some players will complain they should be allowed to play as they like and the other players, being respectful, will say okay.
3rd person warps gameplay in MechWarrior into something entirely different due to the awkwardness of the 'mechs and jump jets. Basically 3rd person changes gameplay too much to still call it MechWarrior, call the new game Mech-Poptarts. I won't play that game. MechWarrior is not about going to a wall or hill to peek over in 3rd person, pop-up and shoot, but that's what gameplay will be in MWO 3rd person. You can't create a 3rd person view that doesn't allow this and you can't beat the tactic by just playing normally. You folks complained about Artemis 1.0, well that was nothing compared to pop-tarting.
I'll even tell you the config they will be using. Highlander, 2x gauss, 3x if possible, any similar weapon that can fit, jump jets. That's it, no other mech in the game. All of them pop-tarting each other. Welcome to MWO 3rd person.
