Or, a slightly different variation of the above.
This is getting ridiculous. I just ignored the "LRM wars" remarks, previously. There is truth to it.
LRMS seem to make up over 80% of the gameplay.
I've even done research proving it.

Personally I think it was a mistake to add indirect fire to the LRM from the start without the requirement of the C3 Network.
Spotter: Master Unit Module
Shooter: Slave Unit Module
Then we would limit indirect missile spam and require that some people actually walk to the enemy so they can SEE them before they fire.
It's too...easy.

What a Trollpost... man please constructive. I bet the devs are in stress because of million things in moment so they don't need another troll.

Though it may shock the 'Nerf the LRMs' crowd, I am in full agreement with your post. I'd even take it a step further and say that mechs shouldn't be sharing radar/map data unless they've got a C3 unit equipped. Not a weightless un-critable module either. Though sarna.net is hazy about how much these units weigh (conflicting data on how many criticals/how much weight), I'm sure our clever Devs could come up with a reasonable solution.

It would be in the cockpit though... a crit to the cockpit is... well... the end of the match for you lol

Second of all, two LRM 15's with two tons of ammo and four medium lasers is not a LRM boat

So lets make a trade:
Remove the ability to fire LRM's indirectly.
Provide the option to hot-load LRM's, although with no lock-on option when firing, much like a SRM.

EDIT: Oh, you meant the trial mech.

The C3 slave unit - perhaps. The C3 master unit is larger, though how much larger is nebulous. According to sarna, one mech chassis variant dropped an SRM6 launcher and 2 SL to fit a C3 master unit, while another only dropped TAG to fit it.

After the nerf lol??? Dude, ship me some of what youre smoking!!!
Ive seen hardly any LRMs run from Marik; I ran mine ONCE today just to see how bad it was, and immediatly told my group i
wouldnt be running them again, back to my K2.
The LRMs youre seeing are from trial mechs for the most part.

Thats my 'research'
Ok irrelevant accusations and other personal point of view factors away, since the LRM hotfix and the introduction of artemis, LRMs ( without artemis ) got a far wider spreading reduced dmg and flattened flight curvature. With Artemis they still do less dmg as before artemis introduction at the same scattering rate and flight trajectory.
Without Artemis mayby 20 -30% of the missles actualy hit and the hits are scattered over your mech, so from a LRM 20 you got an averange of 4 to 6 missle hits at 1.7 dmg each, thats 10.2 dmg max.
With Artemis... oh well don't bother nobody can afford the ammo costs.
So if you say you encountered hordes of LRM boats they are either the "Gosts Of The NerfedTM" or you're simply a slugitout brawler fanboy exagerating a one time encounter where you got a bit buthurt or you simply had the bad luck to encouter the same LRM using premade over and over again.
Let it be said from one who uses LRM boats from the start, they are useless as mech killer weapons atm. They may be still of some value as supporter weapons to soften up targets for killshots with gauss, ac or PPC by your team mates but even with 1080 shot ammo 2 LRM 20 and a good spotter i never got more than ~350 Dmg out of my ammo until I ran dry and used my 2 med lasers. ( that added aditional 100 dmg)
