this version makes the raven's profile even slimmer. Anything that's hard to hit is ok by me. I like that over all more mechanical look. That was kind of lacking in the Awesome and this is more of a return to form.

There is no "undecided" option, so I put Don't care.

It's a design that was obviously a raven at a glance, they transformed it in such a way that even without the name written under it, It was obvious. So good job on that, but the sleek curves of the old raven will be missed greatly.

Can you say skins? Will they at all effect the look of it? other than colors etc, maybe we could get a slightly more expensive skin that makes it look like our old classic raven?

Making the mechs look more realistic and military is great but there are always exceptions, occasionally it is OK to do something just for the hell of it. The Raven can stand on its reputation as a scout mech but there are others that can do the job just as well. What made the Raven great and so popular was that it was also a little different. Sure they could of made it a walking brick, would of been cheaper and easier to build and maintain but some times it is good to do something just because it would be cool or because you can (in terms of science and engineering).
By making the Raven look like a fox it is no longer what its designers meant it to be. Also this is science fiction, the designs do not have to adhere to real world standards, if they did mech combat would be nothing like it is in BT. All it needs is a minor alteration making the beak more droopy so it looks more avian than canine.

I personally love it. It takes the odd (though striking) curves of the original and replaces them with angles that give it a much more industrial/military look that fits with the common design theme of the other mechs. I for one really appreciate the new art direction that FD is taking with the redesigns and this Raven is a superb example of it.

When I first saw it I immediately identified it as the Raven, so to my senses it retains enough of the original, and yet I delighted at the updated angles and geometry of the torso.

... I'm not FD and I don't know why he went to Davion colors but I don't much care what faction colors it has on it, it is still a pretty mech.
My thoughts exactly.

We have a factory for it! :D

But Davions destroyed most of them and only stole our gear and then sold it over the IS.

It looks definitely different to the OG Raven, but i like it. You can still clearly see that it's a Raven.

I don't like the look of it. That's it. The original raven looked like one, had a curved beak and a scrawny shape. While I like the more military overall look, the new model misses its spirit.

I like the look, but I have liked most of the new looks. Also, as bird-eater said above, when you look at it you can tell that it is a raven.

I like it. Though the nose looks less beaky that the TT mini, it reminds me of the kind of nose you would find on a present day electronics aircraft (fighter conversion, not AWACS) with angles somewhere between an F-22 and F-117, which I think is appropriate for the Raven in the overall style FD is bringing to the mechs.

I look at the Raven redesign and think it looks like a hunter. Aggressive looking, predatory, stealthy  ,kinda like a Velociraptor, only missing the scythe-like claws on its feet. Beware any who should come across a pack of these all alone :D .

All it really needs is the proper "raven" beak the mech is named after. The Rest is fine.

my thoughts exactly, its fine but it doesn't have that raven look.

looks perfectly fine to me. i mean, it still looks like a raven, though without the absurd/unnecessary beak from the OG art.
