Do you Like the New Raven?

This mech was designed by a Chinese-Russian state, it should differ from yours dramatically. And also, the modern SCI-FI takes other ways of stealth as the functioning version. This is a proper modern stealth SCI-FI vessel:
What does its shapes remind you of? Yeah, Raven.
And this are your sharp shapes you think are stealthy:
Yep, you fail. The shapes of Raptor are usefull only for airplanes, real fighting equipment (like mechs), DOES NOT make use of them!

heheh but i think raven should look like raven not Comanche helicopter
It was not meant like that. I wanted to say that the "realistic" style of new Mech designs fits greatly into the Battletech universe, that is known for it´s "realism" without any alien races or teleporters etc. For me the new designs raise the willing suspension of disbelief for MWO - and that is definitely a great achievement.

P.S. The Abrams travels in large groups and they make so much bloody noise that stealth is not really an option...

Well i'm not really sure what your complaint here is about? you do realize that many of the Raven's were capture by the FedSuns during the 4th Succession War, and that because of this the FedSuns were able to get the mech into actual production faster than the Capellans so having FedCom colors makes perfect sense to me. Don't bash unless you know what your talking about please.
Allow me to clarify a few things for you.
Wow, in nearly 30-years of playing Battletech, I never realized the Raven could possibly end up outside the CCAF. Thanks!
Since the above statement may also be fuzzy to you, and I'm aware that text does not always properly convey intent or emotion, the above statement hints towards sarcasm.
IMO, as it is an original in-House Capellan design, the Raven probably would have been better served by being in CCAF colors.
The rounded "nose", again IMO, detracts from the otherwise excellent design. A slight "beak-ish" look would have honored the origins of the Raven designs and probably caused less uproar. (Could it be the latest MWO troll to-date? Who knows?)
And, since you know NOTHING of my Battletech knowledge, then perhaps you should take your own advice and "Don't bash unless you know what you are talking about please".

The only mechs that should use aerodynamics are lights (maybe some mediums) so that they can hit the 130 kph or whatever. heavies and assaults wouldnt matter if they had aerodynamics simply because of mass.

Well, here's the "origins of the Raven designs"...
I think FD's design would have to be a lot more rounded and less hooked to get close to that...

I like the new Atlas, the new Hunchback, the new Awesome... but the Raven (and the Catapult) simply won't reach my heart. :S
It's have nothing about the sleek profile of the old Raven.

Old raven model if done with same level of textures and stuff it would look realistic, but what bothers me when i see picture its like i see mech that looks like raven.
