It's been done in previous games, so i don't see why not. But perhaps it should be based on people that actually do testing, and not just play.

Rather unlikely, unless you provide them with a lot of input/bug reports etc, then maybe, but just maybe.

I could see some cosmetic item of lesser value(or possibly a short period of XP/Cbill booster time) being given to beta testers, but nothing as grand as the Founder's Mechs. They need that to be a top-tier, exclusive reward to go with the Elite package, not given away for free to thousands of Beta testers (many of which will not find any bugs of note)

I would expect nothing more than a beta tester nametag or a special cosmetic skin or patch.

Maybe one for the best tester. That way, people would test, rather than play... which is the whole reason of the closed beta. :o

Well, that beta tester tank from beta was painfully useless, i remember me selliing it with satiscaftory smile on my desperate face. The same for A-32, though ... pity the wargaming made the premium low tier tanks so useless.

But some premium mech, or just a badge for participating the beta, that would be nice.

I use my WoT beta tank all the time. Its guaranteed money win or lose. It hits like a little girl but I ususally manage to get a kill or three with it.

WHy wold you get a free mech? Your already getting to play for weeks or months early for free to learn the game.

Because they want to sell more of the same packages after the game officially launches?

I'm looking to Phemon X4 980 Black Box (can't imagine if I'll need more then 4 cores and when software will be really optimized for 6-8), it should have more or less same performance rating as i5 2300. Btw my Phenom 9950 was quite good in SW:TOR - about 40-45 fps with Radeon 6970 onboard.

Sadly, all reasonable-priced full-desktop cases are the same crap - low and narrow like a midget's coffin...

It'll be good and work fine. It won't however match an I5-2300. The Sandy Bridge's are just gaming /monsters/ they are insane, but the 980 Black will serve you just fine I am sure. I'd get it if I wanted to upgrade on the cheap without changing my whole platform.

I can't think of a single game that the 980 will choke on so long as you have a good video card and enough ram (Note there's enough, and then to much. Don't go over 8 gigs at all unless you run 64 bit applications a lot. Heck, 4 gigs is more than enough for the majority of games).

Oh and Lima, I'd just get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Air cooler, those things work great and are cheap. No need for any sort of water solution. I overclock to 4.8ghz on air with a noctua that won't go over 1200 rpm's cuz it's a cool and quiet style HTC cpu cooler :o Thing runs 27C idle and up to 65C at Prime 95 stress (Never hits that with actual games cept for Civ V).

Anyways, if you've got the scratch, I'd definitely /suggest/ going to an I5-2400K, but if you don't, if money is an issue, then the 980 will still do you right.

Sure it might bottleneck, but unless you're running three monitors or something chances are you won't even notice since most people can't tell the difference between 40fps and 400 fps.

This's my high-spec box... figured I'd dust it off, as I only bring it out for the srs gaming. I once got a negative FPS when trying to play Quake 3, so I figure that means I win. :o

Try the game before. Get some equipment in advance. Get good at this game.

I don't see a reason to give them mechs, they will already rule the field. :P

Hard Drive brought the index down to 5.9. Otherwise, would be 6.7 due to Video Card . . . .
