What are these "awesomes" and "Hightlanders" you speak of, i only know of Atlas.

Awesomes and Highlanders are medium infantry.

You may be a Lyran if you spend C-Bills faster than your mint can print them.

You may be a Lyran if you think C-Bills expire after a week.

If you think an Atlas is a light mech... you~ might be a lyran

If you think that the best way to win a war is with more cash... you~ might be a lyran

If you call a jumpship a "personal yacht "... you~ might be a lyran

If you tell a mugger to keep the change... you~ might be a lyran

If anyone asked if you dodged taxes and you reply "yes, because they were repeatedly thrown at me"... you~ might be a lyran

if you call a flamer a paint dryer... you~ might be a Lyran

and finally...

If you think that a squad of light mechs is a trailer park with legs... you~ might be a lyran.

You might be a Lyran if...your commanding officer replaced his mech's targeting computer with a cappuccino machine.

You might be a Lyran if, One third of your units budget is devoted to 'social Events'

You might be a Lyran if, Most of your Campaign ribbons represent Major social functions.

You might be a Lyran if, You change your mechs color scheme more than once a week, but you never deploy to the field.

You might be a Lyran if, You bought your commission out of your allowance.

You might be a Lyran if, When your unit sorties, you go to a soiree.

You might be a Lyran if, You joined for the cool Uniforms and big mechs

And finally,You might be a Lyran if, You believe Bigger is better, quantity beats quality, and why fight yourself when you can pay someone else to do it for you.

Bwuh? Other Houses might sink their budgets into large numbers of small mechs, but us Lyrans know where to stick the budget - into Assaults. You don't need numbers when you've got tonnage on your side.

You see a company of light mechs, you wonder why your children have been lazy, and not put their toys back in the box

you might be a Lyran

If you classify the Dragon as "Scout"
If you wonder where the AC/200 is.
If your ejection pod is another mech.
If you wondered why there are regular PPC and Heavy PPC models, where are the Assault PPCs.

I don't think so.
But there are some Dragon pilots out there who will tell you different.
Don't believe them!

After reading all of this, I suspect that House Steiner is nothing but a big blue "Love Fist", covered with 24 carat gold and stuffed with too much boomshine. If correct, then...

You might be a Lyran, if you equipped your Atlas with a giant fly swatter to keep those Jenners, Ravens and other little, noisy freaks at bay. (I suppose, that the true Steiner can't call all that small crap battlemechs)

You might be a Lyran if your Zeus has a Mini-bar to keep your buzz up.
