Unless there were massive undocumented changes (which wouldn't be too unusual, since we get undocumented changes EVERY PATCH for some reason), the patch notes feel pretty lacking for a patch that got delayed a week.

I mean, mechlab crashing? Not even mentioned. I can only hope it's an undocumented fix.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Two new modules, BAP, and a new Heavy.

Content-wise, I'm happy.

Not sure why its taking so long to fix the outstanding bugs (overheat bug and netcode in particular), but not knowing how difficult they are to fix I can't constructively comment on thisl

Maybe you are right.

But repeating the same behaviour over and over again and expecting a different result is a sign of madness.

So... let's just say managing your expectations is a good idea.

Yes, quite unhappy, because we KNOW we're going to see a TON of undocumented changes.

There should NEVER be undocumented changes.

Not tried the patch yet, but the notes were a major disappointment.

The font was ugly, the type too small, and it could have done with some sweet, sweet Mech illustrations to liven it up.

I have to admit, yes. I was so excited this morning. I thought we were going to get a ton of new content to enjoy this week. We got remarkably little, and MUCH of what was promised slipped.

PGI: I'm trying to keep the faith, but either you guys have to do a better job of estimating, or you need better coders. Maybe both. And so you know, I run an Agile software development team, so I don't think I'm expecting too much.

I was expecting the cataphract and 0 other new features, we got BAP and two modules that were worthwhile. Also apparently we get more free premium time, unless they forgot to put that in the notes. So...depends how much crap they changed and didn't tell us about.

Yeah just the Cataphract does not cut it. Not enough bugfixes for two weeks. I really feel sorry for the guys, I am sure they are working as fast as possible, but it is too slow (and has been for several weeks). I do not want to see this game fail before it even matured, but with "progress" like this getting new players is really hard.

SSRM behaviour the only balance change for this patch? Really??

Disappointed... No by now i have gotten used to the emotional roller-coaster that is patch day. I am more curious in finding out what we will unearth in they way of small changes that slipped past the notes.

Also i stopped taking computer games serious many many years ago.

I was hoping for DX11 or destructible environment, like trees and small objects.. Well I'll see it in the game, but i voted YES.

It is about what i was expecting. PGI just does not seem to have the staff to keep up with demand, and i suspect IGP is pushing them to get more money makers in the game (mechs and gxp items)

so there was a patch today? didn't see anything in the announcements as of yet, which is surprising, usually they would have something there by now saying that something happened or nothing happened.........PS2 today!
