I have this problem after 11/20 patch. Have had it before but not so often. It just drops me to desktop in the middle of gaming...

Windows 7 64bit
12GB Ram
nVidia 580GTX
i7 2600K

After the patch today, 20 November, I have experienced multiple crashes to desktop during different phases of the loading screen before a match. Out of 8 matches, 4 have crashed. Two of those were before the loading screen that shows what map will be played. The other two were after that screen, which apparently puts you in far enough your mech is in the match. I had to repair my mechs after both of those crashes. Have not had this problem until after today's patch.

On my second match after the patch, I noticed others started disconnecting, then I was disconnected from the game and the client closed. Before today's patch, I only had the occasional disconnect, usually at the end of a match.

While I too, am experiencing these random CTD's. For the first time ever I encountered an FRead error on River City.

Never had a CTD before today's patch. Initially I would crash in one out of three games. Now it's every single game. Reboot has no effect.

This has been my experience as well. Ever since this patch, it seems every third or fourth drop is a CTD after the initial match load screen. No point in dropping in anything but trial mechs at this point.

Before the patch, a crash to desktop was VERY unusual for me. Now I crasht o desktop atleast 1/2 the time. Had anyone else had issues liek this since the new patch

To be specific this is when loading into game. Is ee the image of the map, screen goes blank for a bit as usual but instead of game starting I am looking at my desktop

had one earlier this evening. also, had a very very odd thing happen to my entire computer while just chillin in the mechbay. my entire screen decided it was going to go and turn into a vertical blue and white pinstripe on me. forced a hard reboot of the computer, then, when i came back, all my settings in mwo were back to stock settings.

Just had a crash to desktop just as the match was launching... in fact, my little Jenner is sitting in a match right now, defenseless, useless... Hopefully my team wins without my help.

Same here, first time I got a crash to desktop in 2 weeks of playing. Happened in the middle of the match, a few games in. Reloaded and played for several hours after that with no problems.

3 matches in a row. River, Frozen, Frozen. Also several crashes earlier in the evening as well.

Same for me, 3 CDT out 6 games yesterday and all of them from the map loading screen. Two instances were Frozen City but it could be not related to the map.

Definitely much more crashes anyway.

This has probably happened to me 3 or 4 times tonight. It's pretty frustrating because I just bought a new mech and it has spent about every third game stuck in a match. We really need some way to reconnect to a game in progress.

So Far out of around a dozen matches, have crashed to desktop twice after getting the map location splash screen. Didn't have THIS problem before the patch (lots of graphics related issues before this, medium on resolution solved that). Waited about 10 minutes after a reboot/reload before I could even repair the first time, waiting for the second one now.

Forgot to mention, full drop to desktop, had to restart MWO

ok 3rd drop to desktop after full restart this time...getting tired of paying for repairs I didn't have a chance to propagate upon myself..

Ok, decided to start a new post. After a FULL COLD BOOT following my third drop to desktop, I tried to play again. Not sure if it is important (but, knowing troubleshooting trees, any info can lead you to the problem or totally divert you), Had a 4th drop to desktop. Like I said, full cold reboot, logged in, tried to play, back to desktop.

Same here. CTD after launching a game. Didn't happen before. 3 times now i crashed before even seeing the loading screen.
