Ditto. Crashed on (wow, totally blanking - that brown blighted hilly place). We entered, started. Walked towards the enemy a bit. As they started popping on radar with only the chance of a few shots fired it crashed out to windows desktop.

I just had this again. Walked up to the caldera on caustic valley. No shots fired, no enemies sighted, sudden crash to desktop.

I don't get it, I can play 20+ matches in a row on my laptop and never crash. Are you guys using TS or something that might be restricting the amount of available memory?

I straight pug - so that would be my first guess as to a possible difference.

Possibly. I've heard that TS uses at least 8GB of Ram. I have 16, so yeah, maybe. KInda being a smart ***, but no, it's not a RAM problem. And if MWO does have a problem with TS (highly unlikely), then it's not TS problem. No reports of this with the other 1 million games online.

CTD about 50% of the time. Q6600, 4GB Ram, 8800GT on W7 Ultimate.

Playing with a freshly rebooted computer and nothing but mwo running. This chances nothing, still crash every 3rd match.

Hope this

Hope this is a priority for the devs.

With the 20/11 patch no problem with disconnects. The hotfix for today, and I've been disconnected from most of my matches today. All during the map load screen.

*edit* I'm downlaoding a new game from steam, just thought I'd throw that out, though I doubt it matters.
*edit* Oh, and I'm not receiving any error messages, it's like I alt + F4.

After posting this, I went back to try it again, and had no problems.. so..... yeah.

wow, this last patch broke a lot.

Never had much problem with crashing or locking or launching. Now it seems its a 50% chance to be able to play.

Worst is the black screen when loading the game, it launches you into the game and you can keep it as it is and you will be returned to main menu when the game is over. But the screen is black so you don't see anything.

Playing without a HUD sucks pretty hard as well.

The HUD not returning after a heat shutdown is also pretty sucky.

So yeah, I won't be playing anything until this is fixed.

Crashing on map load about 50% of times. It started with the 20Nov patch (not the latest mini-patch). Many team mates of mine confirmed the same problem. Crashes during gameplay are present but not more frequent than before, the new problem is the map load thing.

E6600@3.12GHz, 4GB RAM, WinXP SP3, AMD5870.

Core2 Duo 2.4GHz, GTX 560Ti, 4GB Ram, 32bit Vista

Used to get 'the black screen' sometimes during map loading and the odd crash to desktop with a 'memory allocation error' during game play.

Since patch I've had neither the black screen during map loading or the memory alloaction crash during game play... I have however had a new phenomenon; the crash to desktop during map loading (no error message)... It is happening with a much higher frequency than the other 2 problems put together...

The up side is that I now only have one problem... The down side is that it happens alot more than the numerous old problems.

Been in closed beta since second round of invites. Never crashed while loading maps like this before until the cataphract came out. Now periodically i crash to desktop after the loading screen. No error message, just straight to desktop. Doesn't seem to matter which mech i load with. It seems to happen more often with Caustic Valley however.

Ditto. This last patch has really screwed me. I've been pretty stable up until the 20th. Since then I'm CDTing on spawn 3-5 times out of every 20 games, usually in clusters of 2-3 CTDs one after another.

Hi, had a similar experiance to everyone else on this thread.

The program loaded fine after downloading the patch but as soon as i start a match the game will crash. when i restarted the game and signed back in my mech was still "in match".
