I'm really appaled to see so many people trying to hang the OP out to dry here. Why is it every time somebody posts a problem on these forums, the first response is "ST*** or GT**"? Do they stand to lose their ability to play because of these threads? Sure, it looks like the OP is a bit upset but many are. All the optimizations are being undone, and instead of getting fixed it just gets worse with each new patch. We're beta testers. We should be reporting these problems. Widespread and/or severe problems will light up forums, and that's how a problem is identified as such. I've never seen a game forum where that isn't the case.

this is stupid... the FPS isn't listed in both vidio's and the fps in the first is 20-12 which isn't as bad as some people have. and this is stupid, again you don't have fps listed on both it proves nothing. PS: I have less the the best proformance but not that bad, with my laptop.. and it is an ok gaming pc... if you have a "good gaming pc" you have a "good gaming pc" you do not have a good gaming pc...

Try actually watching the video's........

Found your problems, AMD and Gigabyte. I'll never touch their hardware ever again after my last experience with both of these manufacturers.

No, Read the whole thread before posting...

Yea with this patch the errors are like a plague with this game as the longer it runs the worse it gets(also because of the major UI memory leak).... I bet if all the errors were removed the game would only be using 10-20% of the CPU and GPU.... But because of the errors the CPU is at like 95-100% usage with 10-20fps which is very bad coding errors...

Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about.........

I did watch them... the first seems to be a bit slow also, maybe if you also watched it... you would see that the FPS isn't that good on it too.. maybe a bit better but not that much.

no listed FPS:::

PS: this is what it looked like b4 the patch..

Thats an opinion not a solution or a valid reason for Discussing...

But TBH Gigabyte is top of the line, for consumer grade, right now(Especially their Motherboards) and I've been using them since they were just starting to import their boards into Canada which is 12yrs and counting; And I've never had a single problem with them or their Hardware!.

Ouch, my gpu is not as powerful as yours but I'm running an OC'ed i5 2550k@4.5Ghz and an AMD 6950 and I get around 45-50fps on max running an FSAA injector.

What have you tried to do to fix the issue if you don't mind my asking?

Eternal, I have the same exact cpu, and the only difference between our graphics cards is that mine is the CU version from asus.

I average around 45-50 frames untill people start getting killed, then it raises a bit.

This game does run much worse than it did in cb for sure.

Edit: Forgot to mention I run at everything maxed.

As I did, and I just assumed your troubleshooting list was incomplete, I now assume your "PC tech" skills are sub par.

Finally SOLVED: So Tinkering around some more I came up with using these settings, in the screenshot below, in the nvidia control panel to force core threading fixed the issue! MWO isn't threading properly, Which means its a threading code issue!(MWO was doing all the same calculations/work using 2 or less cores[mirroring the work to the other cores] thus causing to run like **** and return a ton of errors!)

Now I get 30-60fps which is playable!
