Anyone else notice this? In my own cockpit I've got a substantial FPS decrease due to this patch but the moment I'm looking through someone else's, everything is really smooth.
Maybe it is a placebo effect... more testing required... that is, if I don't crash every drop.

Had this last night:
25 FPS standing;
10 FPS walking around;
5 FPS in a brawl;
30-40 FPS watching someone else brawl.
Changing details levels between high and low made no difference.
After 5 games in my catapult standing back and raining LRMs on people I gave up.
And yes my graphics card is not crap. I get 40FPS in WoT with everything set to max.

I had some performance issues too.
Some posts say try uninstall/reinstall.
It worked for me. Running smooth on high settings again.

Tried uninstall/reinstall - no effect. 5 fps when moving/looking around,35 fps when standing still and do nothing. In the same time, BF3 multiplayer showing 25 fps minimum.

One of the suggestions that worked for me is to run it as administrator

This is a common experience.
Out of curiosity - do any of you get FPS drops when using A/D to turn your mech but no fps drops if you just torso twist with the mouse?

Thanks, I'll try this. My FPS has dropped slightly with each of the last patches. I've gone from High to Medium to Low setting (just keep on the safe side).
