Age: 29
Time Zone: EST (-8 GMT). Depending on the day, I may be on anywhere from 3pm EST to 5am EST.
Preferred Callsign: Eh...if you come up with one other than my forums/account name, go ahead and call me it
Experience: Long time Mechwarrior player from all the way back to MechWarrior...the first one, where you play as Gideon Braver Vandenburg to MechWarrior 4 and all its iterations. I've also played both MechCommanders, both MechAssaults for XBox, and the tabletop Battletech 4th Edition.
Preferred Mech class and roles: Heavy/Medium, though I enjoy playing Lights on occasion also. I work best as fire support, flanking, and raiding/quick strikes, with a preference for long range weapons, missiles, and medium lasers. Regardless of my personal preferences, however, I'm always looking for ways to make my mechs perform better, even if it means ditching a preference.
Tell us a little about yourself: I've loved Battletech since I first found it, taking over my childhood favorite of Star Wars. I've followed the books a bit and am familiar with the universe and technology, but I'm by no means an expert. I'm a very heavy gamer (I don't use the term hardcore because I recognize only certain kinds of people as worthy of being called such), and I play many different kinds rather than stick to just one or two. In fact, the only kind of game I generally won't touch aside from learning games are the Myst-likes.
Questions and concerns: None at the moment aside from the usual RL jobs and friends. I do have a couple of other games that I'm dedicated to, however, I can be as flexible with them as I need to be, so there won't be any problems regarding them.

Preferred call-sign (if any): Flashbolt
Experience (both TT and MW): Used to play the Mechwarrior games as well as mechassault games. Always a closet fan of the TT games but never had a group to play with
Preferred 'Mech class and roles: so far I'm loving the Gausapault.
Tell us a little about yourself: Mature gamer looking for a good group of folks to work together, learn the game, and crack a few jokes
Questions and concerns: None yet

And thanks. Already registered on the site too. Apparently, I had an old enjin.com account already that I didn't remember having, so I just used it.

Timezone: EST
Preferred call-sign: Badger or just Mykal
Experience (both TT and MW):
I have played the TT from the beginning and have an 80+ painted Merc Battalion ready to go. I ran tournaments for many years in our gaming club as well as the local gaming conventions. I once ran a tournament where everyone had to pilot Mackies for laughs. I played the WizKids version for a while but it was a little too simplified for me. I also have a couple of complete sets of the Battletech Card Game (an incredibly fun and addictive game if you have not played it). For the computer games, my experience started with "BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Revenge". I have played all of the games through a couple of times.
Preferred 'Mech class and roles:
I prefer Medium and Heavy Mechs. My favorite would be the Marauder (I have an original lead version of the one on the cover of the Battletech Technical Readout: 3025). Sadly we will not see it nor the Warhammer, Rifleman, Crusader, etc. So many classic Mechs that will not be here. I enjoy playing most Mechs from 2750 and 3025 (no XL Engines). I am hoping that the Guillotine is playable soon as well as its Clan version, the Guillotine IIC. The Guillotine is a durable 70 ton Mech that is fun to hop around in. It is very fulfilling to take down an advanced Mech with an older one. Some people write-off the older Mechs, but they can take quite a punch and keep on moving. You pretty much have to blow them to slag before they go down. I generally equip a couple of long range ACs or energy weapons for sniping and a few medium energy weapons for close in. My play style is heavy recon or harassment.
Tell us a little about yourself:
Hmmm, I started my love of Battletech with the books. I first read the Grey Death Legion Trilogy and then went back and bought all of the others I had missed. I now have all of the books back to "Sword and The Dagger" and all source books (to include an original copy of "The Star League"). I am sort of a collector so I have pretty much everything that has ever been in print. I also have an un-punched copy of the "The Succession Wars: A Battletech Grand Strategic Game". Never could get anyone to play it with me. Everyone drifted off to the computer and the board games sort of died off.
Questions and concerns:
None at this time. I will download Teamspeak 3 and do a commscheck as soon as possible.

Timezone: CET (Central European)
Callsign: Swiss or Swiss Mercenary
Experience (TT and MW):
Well I have the original tabletop game, Citytech, most technical readouts and quite a few figurines. I was a member of Mechwarrior UK and my membership card was as a member of Wolfs Dragoons, not any of the Houses so I started out as a Wolf a long time ago. Played in local and European tournaments and even won the 1st ever French Mechwarrior Championship many years ago.
Played MW 2, still have it on my shelf too. Even played the Battletech game on the Atari (I think it was) which was the TT on computer.
Preferred 'Mech class and roles:
Well on the TT I used to play missile boats, mostly Archers and the Warhammer, but in this game I am still trying to figure out how to play each class and not doing too well in any of them at the moment.
Tell us a little about yourself:
Been a Mechwarrior fan for as long as I can remember, I have a copy of nearly every novel published and this includes 'The Sword and the Dagger' which I actually bought when it first came out. From Switzerland, been known as Swiss Mercenary for over 20 years on the 'Net and yes I first logged on in 1990 at a place called CERN and worked in the same building as Tim Berners-Lee, know him too. (Google him you young uns and realise that without Tim you could not have Googled him).
Questions and concerns:
None for the moment, will also apply at your site.

Preferred call-sign (If any): Azhra
Experience (both TT and MW): Just some MechCommander and what I've played of MW:O so far.
Preferred 'Mech class and roles: I'm thinking Heavy, but still learning what I like.
Tell us a little about yourself: Big fan of giant walking robots that blow stuff up. But who isn't? Willing to learn about different 'mechs and weapons, and can follow orders. Looking for a group of people who are willing to help me learn the game and have a good time with.
Questions and concerns: I'm hoping my current lack of knowledge of the game doesn't deter you from recruiting me. I'm willing to read and learn on my own time, though I have been having trouble finding the information I've been looking for.

What kind of information have you been looking for? If I can't help I am sure that some black wolf will be able to.

The Black Wolves have surpassed 5 Trinaries in strength, indicating that we are a full-strength Cluster. We will soon be considered a regular strength Galaxy.
