Age: 26
*Timezone: PST (California)
Preferred call-sign (If any): Wolfbyte

Experience (both TT and MW): Played a number of the Mechwarrior games with friends at LANS and single player, also played the Battletech tabletop for ~1 year back in the day, and the Mechwarrior RPG for a short time.

Preferred 'Mech class and roles: Still deciding, but something kinda dog-fighty, leaning towards a Medium or Heavy , something that is mobile, packs a good punch, but can still take a bit of a hit. Not quite a glass cannon. In World of Tanks i played a Medium in Clan Wars as a "scout" as much as that was possible in an E-50. Played a rogue in WoW back in the 40 man raid days before i stopped playing that to focus on school.

Tell us a little about yourself: I am a cost analyst working hard to make time for soccer, video games, and friends. Recently taking a break from World of Tanks, a friend showed me MWO and i have been playing for a few days now that i have time to do so. Looking forward to learning as much as possible and eking every last bit of usefulness out of my mech, as well as playing with a group of great people.

Questions and concerns: Only real concern is the level of play time that will be required once we get to "Raid" or "Clan Wars" type activities. My work tends to run long on the hours some days heh.

Age:31
*Timezone: USA EST
Preferred call-sign: Lee

Experience (both TT and MW):

I played some of the table top Battletech and Mechwarrior paper RPG back in the 80s and 90s. I've also played nearly every Mechwarrior and Battletech PC game in existence. Still need to get my controls sorted as my mouse is great for aiming, but doesn't work so great for controlling multiple fire groups on the fly. I have a joystick coming in the mail.

Preferred 'Mech class and roles:

No preferred class, so long as I have a solid team backing me up. I enjoy running light mechs as a scout, medium as a laser harasser, and assault ERPPC monster to soften up targets from long range. Gauss sniping Catapults is also fun.

Tell us a little about yourself:

I'm a video game developer and motorcyclist among many other things. I have time to play after work and on weekends, unless crunch happens at work.

Questions and concerns:

My only concerns are coms and how we'll be teaming up in-game. Does the beta currently support matching up people on the friends list? I've used skype, teamspeak, and venrilo for voice in the past. I've also been active in a massive clan (theartofwarfare), so I understand military hierarchy and com control.

Welcome to the Wolves gentlemen. Lee, please make sure to also apply on http://blackwolves.enjin.com/home to complete your application.

Wolf, our policy is real life first. Spend what time with us you can, but there are no minimum requirements. Lee, I cannot answer your question here without breaking NDA. And we do use a Teamspeak server while playing Mechwarrior.

Keshik is khan's bodyguard unit, why would you be interested in that instead of one of the frontline units? Just curious. :D

Im just an elitest really, I like the tightness too of just a small elite unit I guess lol. Spend less time wiping freebirth scum off my mech and more time fighting worthy foes too :D

Alaric, you'll love to know that Ran and I happened to run into Wolfbyte randomly in a game. I then proceeded to teamkill him (ON ACCIDENT) for the first kill. I must say, I made quite the intro...

We are now at Galaxy strength, I would hardly call the Black Wolves "small" at this point! I agree with Ice. Why deny yourself the honor and glory of a front line unit?

Oh no.... Haha quite the welcome I suppose. Who else do you have left to cross off of your list to TK?

Warden with a healthy dose of Crusader.

It is just too fun beating the crap out of spheroids to be completely Warden. :)

To quote the old WCW intro song

"Don't turn your back on the wolfpack, you might wind up in a bodybag"
