How about a purple, orange and green skin that will make my Atlas look like a giant robot version of The Joker?

Bryan,

You've told the OP that he's wrong (almost gloating about it). How about leaking a little bit of accurate information.

I read up on how Dazzle works, looks very useful for Hunchback pilots. Confounding opponents with all those lines to hide the hunch.

lol sure. Seriously tho I wish ppl would stay out of the files instead of rooting around and posting threads about half done/implamented things they find.

None of those palettes seem likely to allow Magenta and Chartreuse with sparkly Gold accents. :/

Also from Bryan in post:

I'm sure there will be a wide palette to choose from. Just might not be out on the next patch.

It matters not whether i was incorrect or not. The fact is the newer mechs have been neglected in terms of skin customisations and such. I only hope there are no more Raven excluded bonuses (PC Gamer ex) in the future and all mechs are treated equal with said future bonuses. Having a single or specific number of mechs chosen to receive something whilst the rest are ignored is a slap in the face to pilots who drive them.

As for why people like myself "hack" (incorrect wording) the game files is learn what we can about the future plans for the game, since the inexperienced community managers seem to think the trickle of info is enough. The "road map" posts are what is needed on a regular basis. Not once a month. Sorry but that is the truth.

You speak as though there were numerous skins released. There was ONE promotional skin released (2 counting the Founder's skin) for the Mechs available at the time they were created. No "customisations and such." Why the drama when it has been plainly stated that the new camo system is coming? There has been nothing stating that new Mechs will be left out. Just you digging into game files you know next to nothing about.

Yes, considering the OP is citing things he learned through data mining the game files.
In June people were running around talking about 'Mech Mortar and Binary Lasers citing the game files. They haven't been implemented to date and perhaps never will be.

Taking what you learn from the game files and throwing it out on the forums as proof that that's how something will be implemented in the future is just stupid.

They should have an unique name and a fancy orange Piranha logo skin anytime they play. I want to Piranha hunt everyday, not just on rare select events. Don't be hidin.

This is what the Atlas looks like with the special "Dark Ages" skin applied with a neon green and crimson red color palette.
