They build off each other, really, so the more people that play MWO, the more people interested in an app, and the more people using the app, the more people will spend MC. Consumers lose the desire to purchase items when they are no longer in an atmosphere that encourages them to buy. When you spend time in apps and such, that atmosphere extends beyond the normal game client. That's why so many game companies encourage guides, fan sites, and (more recently) apps.
Here is an update on the GUI. Note: the speed values are currently randomly generated - they do not reflect their actual values in the game yet!

We are planning on allowing exportable mech designs as well, but we will most likely use xml, as it's super easy and lightweight, though feel free to pm me with how you picture this working

We're doing good so far, but I'll keep you in mind if we need to expand

Thanks! Hopefully that will be soon. We're making a lot of progress on the UI and currently pulling heatsinks, armor and hard points.

I also think you should make a little bit of money from this even if you just make a no-ad version and charge for that. I would gladly pay $5 for it and I'm sure many others would as well.

If we port, the first device will be iphone, though we'll port to any device we are able to. Displaying basic data is easy, but something like a mech lab would probably have to be rebuilt from the ground up.This can take a while, even for experience programmers. But we'll definitely look into porting to other devices!

Thanks! It definitely beats working while you're at work

Anywho - off to take a break.
