Buying Pots Of Paint With Mc

65 replies to this topic

Poll: We all know painting our mechs will cost MC. I would like PGI to know how we would like to spend our MC on our pints (149 member(s) have cast votes)

How would you like to spend MC on painting your mech

  1. Buy pots of paint. Have many diffrent shades, colors and textures like ciditel or ralpartha. Maybe even make the pots finite (142 votes [92.81%] - View)

  2. Everytime you change the color of the mech from blue to green you pay MC (11 votes [7.19%] - View)

Ssomething I thought of that im not sure I mentioned. The game warhammer 40k Dawn of war 2, Another miniature based game that plays nothing like the bored game it came from. Sells paint colors and chapter specific insignia and gilding through DLC and apparently does quite well with it because they keep releasing more. Maybe something our devs could look at. Heck that game costs 50 bucks and people are still dishing out money to own pots of paint to make their guys look cool,

Yeah you should really be able to buy Camo schemes (You then keep them forever) and up the MC cost. Changing paint should then cost cbills.

PS2 does this is a way. You buy camo scheme or whatever and it's yours... Or you buy a "one time" use for really cheap.

So to reiterate you want to keep full time should cost more MC.

This reminds me of a Monocle someone tried to sell me.. and its just as sad now as it was then.

Flare (and poorly done) is not a reason for me to spend money.

I OWN a real Hula girl, she's sitting on my desk.

Premium Colors should be unlocked permanently after you spend MC on them.

I hope that at least colours will get a bit less expensive. It feels wrong somehow to pay twice for the same color. I makes sense in the same way that you have to pay for your car to get painted back to it's original colours but it feels like more sense that I already have a pot of paint left and they can use that. Maybe charge c-bills in stead of mc for the "manhours".

Sure there are some "free" (read:c-bill) colours but I think a lot of players are like me and think "I want color x and y" and they of course happen to be premium and thus the most expensive. Why is my taste always so expensive.. :| It's unfair.

Just my 2 cents..
