You don't think clarifying whether a player's system must be upgraded to perform or if the fault lies with the way the game's coded is important? I applaud Click for taking the time to actually dispute what the two of you have said because I may have considered spending hundreds of dollars upgrading my system for no reason. It is wrong to suggest players spend money unnecessarily if the issue is as simple as PGI failing to optimize their coding. Click is helping me so don't try to silence him because you don't like what he has to say.
We are clarifying things no one is listening, if you think Click is helping you then you are in a world of disappointment we do know what we're talking about other wise we wouldn't be wasting our time on this we could be playing the game and not caring about others. We have over 300 members in HHoD I'm constantly helping people with there PC issues lot of people aren't getting the same game performance as others, everything I posted in my post is true and accurate.
Lot of the guys in our group have Dual cores older/newer and there getting the same performance as most of the people here some have upgraded to Quad cores and DDR3 and have gained 20-30 fps more in game. We can argue all day about who's right or wrong, but the reality of it is this is the way technology works and games as well everything plays a part. Yes you were getting good performance early in beta now you're not. well they have added more to the engine which in turn means your PC is having to work harder. Just to prove the point to Click I downloaded Mechwarrior to my Asus G60vx gaming laptop 2.1 dual core, 4 gigs DDR2 and a GTX 260m 1g card, and I was getting the same FPS and performance as all the guys here and the guys in our group, so I feel your pain. Right now this is how it is when they optimize the game more you will see an improvement, but I stand by my statement Quad Core/DDR3 memory is going to give you what you want.
I'd like to add one note the reason we've asked for specs because it lets us know what CPU, motherboard, and Ram you are using to help determine if its a hardware issue. Its not about talking you into spending money its to let you know what the issue could be. Motherboards are all different with different features. There are limitations with certain Motherboards, CPU's and different types of memory
