Well, Another Dissapointing Patch...

-Mechlab crashing neither fixed, at least listed as a known issue
-Gold HUDs neither fixed, nor listed as a known issue
-Memory leak not mentioned at all, whether it is fixed or not is up for anyone to guess
-No noticeable changes at all, just minor ones like p2camo and voice
-Most games are still completely lopsided and end in 8-0 for one team
-PGI seems to have forgotten about phase 2 matchmaking which we were supposed to get, like, a month ago (i remember all the people insisting we would DEFINATELY get it 2 weeks after phase 1, where are those people now?)
-Weapon balance is still non-existent, only way to suceed is to boat lasers, streaks or gauss, unless you are using quad AC5s in a CTF-4X
-Premium time stopping means grinding 20 games for 1 mill after repairs (without XLs or FF)
-No suicide farmers banned yet, despite dozens of reports filed (they are still bragging about it on another site)
-AFKers every match
-Uneven teams 50% of the time
Prediction : Someone pulls the "It's a beta!" card within 5 posts.
Game development pace : somewhere between a glacier and the titanic.

Seriously though, this is an ongoing problem. I think they need to concentrate on gameplay and stability for a bit rather than random toys. But its true that programmers can only do so much in a day...

But yeah I was hopeing for a little more with this patch. hopefully they do get phase 2 into next weeks patch (I actually just pug since people make it sound like teams make the game to easy but team vs team would be great). And of course some balancing and bug fixes would be nice.

I agree. It is abhorrent how bad the progress towards fixing issues in the game has become.
They added pretty colors (OH hi! Color blind players asking for HUD color changes since early closed beta... I guess there WAS time to add some color crap but not for color blind support. Brilliant!) , and a betty that is so badly done it doesn't even work right half the time. Seriously fellas? This is the work of mere interns at best.
All the bugs the OP listed above are still in the game.
Worse yet, there are NEW bugs.
Since this patch this new jewels of self-created job security popped up:
1- HUD fails to load properly. Your compass/leg position doesnt update, target indicators in the compass dont move, the HUD map itself freezes.
2- Player mechs with custom colors now flicker like crazy in some maps. This is SERIOUS issue for anyone with potential epilepsy.
3- Sound cuts off completely when the betty interrupts herself. In some occasions the game goes silent for the rest of the map.
4- Mech bay crashes completely if you try to make certain changes. Before it merely didn't update your mech..now it just crashes the entire client.
....and I read you're giving the most horribly unbalanced unit in the game ECM. Incredible... its like whoever is making these decisions is doing his best to sink the game before it even launches. Lag shield netcode plus ECM plus the one light mech that carries more firepower than a medium mech... /facepalm.

Phase 2 was only slated for last week, and is still slated for next week as far as I know.
You have to either really suck or get completely demolished in pristine super-mechs every game to make only 50,000/match average.
I don't even care if it's a Beta, half that list is crap.

Thats not new, or at least not new for me. I've had that problem for at least 2 weeks now. It actually got a little better last week.

The former point doesn't matter without the latter. The latter point is garbage. Play better. Earn 200-250k on wins without premium/founders/wang.
A good Assault pilot can carry a team. If you lose every game anyways, you should probably stop piloting an Atlas and get something with bigger training wheels.

Press it if you want. Or you can read the mountain of info out there on c-bill optimization.
But probably not. It's easier to just ignore information that contradicts whatever point you're trying to make.

Still - is this patch and the direction where the game is moving so bad as you make it sound? To me it just sounds like pure bitterness instead of acknowledging that things are progressing in the right direction, albeit slowly and behind schedule. Maybe take a break from playing and come back to see it with a less jaded and hyperbolic view, sometimes this helps.

I have been playing since closed beta, and if anything the game is worse than ever (the memory leak is a problem I did not use to have, now I have to close the client every 8-10 games).
/sigh
I still have some hope I guess. MW:LL is looking better and better every day though
