Your numbers are low.
In the first 5 weeks of OB I did the following with legitamate play of around an average of 3-4 hours of play a day (week is patch tuesday through monday):
- week 1: Started with a founders cat, Bought 2 other cats with MC (to get me started) and then proceeded to grind each of the cats through elite (heavily tweaking as I went along) finished on sunday ground for a few cbills.
- Week 2: Bought and modified first two Ravens outright with stashed cbills, proceeded to grind those through basic bought and customised third raven with banked cbills, proceed to to grind all three variants through elite, finished saturday.
- Week 3: Bought and modified first two cidcadas outright with banked cbills. ground through basic, bought third cicada and modified, finished elite grind on all three monday.
- Week 4: Bought and modified first Phract ground through basic, bought ans modified second phract ground through basic, bought and modified third ground, finished elite grind on all three variants on friday. Ground for further cbills
- Week 5: Started heavily revamping some variants whose build i was less satisfied, bought a couple additional XL engines (to avoid the engine shuffle for every mech) and now on wednesday i have ~13 mil banked.
My average game is about 7 minutes and i average around 175 in 190k profit over all wins and losses.
To get 26 Mil my way measured at 175k of profit average it comes to 148 victories at an average of 7 minutes that's only 17 hours or approx an average of 2.8 hours a day for 6 hours, or approximately 1.5 mil an hour which is something I have been able to maintain fairly well when getting continuous games in.
Not to ruin the above chest pounding.. but mate you're WORKING at it.. they are making sandwiches. Yes when you play you can win and earn more. But while your geeking and working at it, they are probably getting laid.
See the difference.. Get up for work, set bot, go to work, come home, eat meal, [REDACTED], shower, brush, collect C-bills, good night, snicker as I fall asleep at those poor [REDACTED] who are making double per match by working at it...
HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHA fracking [REDACTED]..

See the funny thing the 'dipshits' in question that are 'geeking' are also enjoying themselves and PLAYING the game.
Nowhere in there is there anything that seems like work to me, but then I actually enjoy playing games and have enough respect for others that I won't cheat and ruin others enjoyment. It also wasn't chest pounding it was an accurate description of how an average player can meet or exceed the bots effectiveness.

4Chan isn't some site that inherently promotes hacks or anything like that. It's essentially a completely unmoderated forum. He's probably referring to a thread that was on there at some point (if it ever existed in the first place), but it got deleted (from being too old, it happens quickly on 4chan) ages ago.

Perhaps, and this is just a thought, but perhaps a great many folks who you claim are 'working' at it are playing the game to actually play it and not this conjured idea of working at it that you seem to hold. Sure, the bot collects c-bills faster, but to what end? It's not like you have some crazy prize at the end of the c-bill collection scramble. You just have more of them at the end of the day, but who cares? And I certainly don't lament the gametime I put in because again, I'm here for the game. If I want to do something else, I stop playing and do something else. Pretty simple really.

Man, I never dump a match, I make decent Cbills.. My point is, we care, they don't and we are paying for it.
I have lost a lot of matches.. I do not claim to be a great pilot 50% win ratio. But alot of those matches I lost because we were 2 or sometime 3 deep in AFK people or farmers.
I'm on my pay premium time and bleeding, fun and time because of these tards and the overall "seeming" indifference of those in power.
Its fun to play a full match and lose because we got beat. Its ******** to lose AND face repairs because you start with 3 sleeping Atlas's on your team.

If you're 2-3 AFK Atlas deep, you type to your team and tell them to hold the cap and use the Atlas as bait. Sure, it doesn't always work, but all too often I see teams just blindly charge out of their cap and not bother to take notice that they don't have a full team with them.
I generally don't mind the matches where we have AFK's. I'm not a fan either, but I always look at it as a challenge of how to overcome the odds and pull out the win. The disconnects/suicides are generally better though as that usually gives the other team a false sense of security and they just charge blindly in. Even a loosely coordinated group of PUG's can lay down fire on 2-3 targets that have outpaced their heavy/assault support. All it takes is a few things typed in team chat, most people are smart enough to figure the rest out.

I can't agree more and there are several solutions, ranging from: **** those ******* ******* they get nothing NOTHING!!! to adjusting the rewards system to make it unpalatable to not play the game.
Personally I find that joining a team
My favorite suggestion is to entirely eliminate the "participation" payment (i.e. absolutely nothing is given to a player just for being on a winning or losing side) make the win/lose bonus a multiplier for the rewards they do earn, Re-balance the rewards to entirely to Mission/teamwork/role based actions, and make it so a repair bill never costs more than you earned in a match (not to reduce the repair costs but so it cannot run you into the negative if the bill exceeds the reward).
Cheaters are douchebags and i have no sympathy on them if/when the hammer drops. i just hope it avoids hurting people actually trying to play the game.

You guys are getting off topic... the point here I think is the cheaters are NOT PLAYING!! all of your responses are geared to playing the game and how long it will take to make this kind of c-bill's.....
...as founders with premium time.
Anyway, pugging without premium time isn't actually faster than afk grinding. For one you might pay for repairs. secondly you end up in the match times far, far longer than 30secs. Even playing properly with a lot of owned mechs, it's probably faster to grind cbills with trial mechs than to use your actual owned mech IF you pay for refitts and reloads.
On peak times pugging, say right after a patch, you will be having a decent run if you get a little over 1/2 W/L ratio. On off peak when it's mostly pugs that ratio works out the opposite. So lets just say 50% win on average in pugs.
On average I do make some cbills. But if I paid for rearms, it's only about ~50k cbills for every 2 matches. I just did a test right now to get a taste of the average grind freeplayer scum might have to endure in their quest for the paper. Brawler atlas repair bills included.
Decent win
Not so decent win
Average loss
Of course no non premium player is actually repairing their armor or ammo. So for a little disadvantage the actual earnings are certainly a lot higher.
