If this were still closed beta, I'd agree with you, but we're done with economy resets. Exploits can permanently ruin an ingame economy, and as soon as you release a game (and there's no question that from an economy perspective, this is release), you are responsible for guarding that economy. If cheaters get away with what they're doing, there are 2 rational responses. You either cheat as well, or you feel your own contributions are cheapened.

Ok, so these guys let their bots run around like headless chickens and rack up C-Bills, right?

What they do not get doing this is actual practice playing the game. I don't care if you have a mechlab full of Atlases with FF, endo Steel, and XL engines, they'll all die just the same if you don't know how to pilot them.

Farming C-Bills in a closed economy is purely a waste of time. I do not understand why people would want to do this in the first place.

A previous poster stated that it was 28 million a day, not six days as I originally stated. That could well be the case as I played through a full game before I stopped to report the findings. I didnt take SS and everyhting was written from what I could remember.

Huge amounts of money aside, it's the fact that after X amount of days and multiple different reports this guy is apparently still flaunting his bot and ruining every game he is in.

Maybe IGP should post proof they're doing something other than generating form emails, like maybe a list of banned/suspended accounts in a sticky cause at this point I don't think they're doing ****.

Sadly i am inclined to agree having run into several repeat offenders that i know others have reported.

Right.

But, exactly how much damage has this person done to the economy so far? Id wager just about nothing. He will just have one account with a lot of c-bills and a lot of scrutiny when they get around to looking at this stuff.

Its not like its a real economy. We cant give money to other players or sell things at different rates, or collapse empires and economic structures

Just saw this guy in a game. Spammed about PGI not caring, how he farms 25mil+ cbils, tossed out a link, then proceeded to kill himself.
