Definitely with you here.
I wonder what percentage of the players actually know what these announcements mean?

Quite a few, though I think that the majority is really in a the dark here. Quite a pity, it's really good storyline, just imagine Game of Thrones in a scifi setting. We even have our own version of Tyrion Lannister.

Most clanners are genetically engineered from the DNA of the Clans' greatest warriors. They are born from artificial wombs and raised in sibling companies or "sibkos" and do not have parents or families.
I'm assuming this is very accurate.

So big it's hard not to hit it, the main reason why I never like using it(alongside low ammo).

Riiiiiiiight. This is just bandit activity. Or, NO! It must be space aliens, or St. Kerenski returning from The Great Beyond to reclaim his lost Star League. Ooooooooh, scary!
Perfidious FedCom, you fool no one with your 'maneuvers'. If a filthy dog of war can follow the money trail, everyone else can. This is some idiotic attempt by the Lryans - now that they 'dont' have to worry about House Davion anymore - deciding to get a chunk of territory courtesy of the FRR. You're helping them, and we all know it. The Lyrans arent clever enough to come up with an annexation scheme like this, this has bloody fox-prints all over the crime scene.
You think House Kurita would stand by and let you annex our neighbor? Do you think you can just march without consequence like you do with the weakling Capellans? If you land your ships, even painted with the Fist, we'll know who is really invading, and you'll see the red mechs of the Swords of Light. It will be the last thing you scum ever see.

This should make them even better for you then. You don't know whats going on, you just hear bits and pieces of shenanigans afoot out in the periphery. Makes it so the story is new to you, where those of us who have played all the other games, and/or TT, and read the novels kinda know most of what's going to happen story wise.

Does everyone have their "Clan Buster" mechs ready? I know I'm still a few c-bills short of finishing mine.

Neither man had any shortage of enemies, especially after that debacle on Fianna. Maybe the Lyran recon finally stomped their way out to the Elysian Fields and mopped 'em up for good.
