Don't think of it as a bigger Jenner with less payload. Think of it as a Locust with no copyright issues & a cripplingly heavy engine. The variants have widely-differing hardpoint layouts, so we can downgrade the engine & mech-lab it to mimic other popular mechs. But I'm still wondering how to explain that I like the redesign but it's incredibly ugly.
Because it's way better than the old crap TRO art

So far, i prefer the Jenner over it. A scout needs jumpjets.
I would like to now more about its variants. Dropping the Ultra AC should give it quite some tonnage for more much needed armor or different weapons.
Ah, shouldn´t the AC be mounted in the right torso?
and no a scout does not need jump jets. speed yes jump jets no and depending on the mission arms and hands (cant aquire cargo if you cant pick it up). my assult company, scout lance was 2 chargers, a golith, and a victor, thats fast for assults...he he

Personally I'd say, at present, MWLL is the MW/BT world, at least in terms of video gaming. At least, I don't see any other current-gen, actively-supported BT games that I can go play right now. That counts for something, I'd think.
And I will speak of what I please, where I please, when I please.

I am sorry, but same speed and same armour as the locust, along with half a ton more of weapons doesn't justify double the weight and price. I liked all other mechs, but this one is a real let-down, especially when guessing that we won't get too many other medium mechs any more. It must be really hard to select a "sensible" medium mech.
Having two mediums which both wanted to be heavies, but just didn't manage to was allright, as there was the hope to get a more balanced machine in the future. Now we have a medium which wants to be a light, so i wonder, when will we get a medium which indeed is built as medium mech? (Means, a balanced mix of speed and firepower, perhaps even, *gasp* with jump jets? But i guess we'll rather see the Victor as the next assault mech, so every weight class but the medium has jump capacity? )
