1.) Before I ask the question review this info:

DPS of Autocannon 2 = 4.00
DPS of Autocannon 5 = 2.94
DPS of Autocannon 10 = 3.33
DPS of Autocannon 20 = 5.00

As you can see, the Autocannon 2 and 20 are superior and you can witness this in almost any battle in MWO (quad Autocannon 2 Cataphract is a tad overpowered).

Did you plan for all the classes of autocannons to have the roughly the same DPS so that all classes of mechs are capable of inflicting roughly equal damage? If so, will the DPS of the different classes be adjusted so none are more effective than the others?

2.) Will speed penalties due to inclines be added?

I too am interested in the idea of custom decals, and the status of the possibility of them Garth. Last time we left off you guys were still "considering" them, so I was wondering, with the first stage of mech customization, if you fine fellows have come to a conclusion for the option for custom emblems, etc. Totally maybe kinda want NGNG logos on my mechs :)

With the coming of 8 man groups and ECM a big question needs to be raised by pretty much everybody outside the US.

When every 8 man group is going to run Ravens and Cicadas with ECM and the lack of fixed netcoding or collisions for the near future what will be done to assist those people with highers pings who already have a hard time hitting fast mechs?

Edit: Higher pings being a figure around 250ms

check out NGNG podcast 52. Basically, when they get a bug like a black screen that prevents gameplay, it becomes a priority. They focus their resources on it over things like, a bug with LRMs. The things you mention are pretty bad, so its likely they are a priority. If you see a math problem your teacher gives you you've never seen before, and you are then asked how long will you take, what would you say?

If you are experiencing these things make sure to report it in the forums. If it is effecting people they will prioritize it. :D

With that logic Netcode is the biggest bug of them all then.

First, thanks for the great game!

Second, Can you make a sticky of some kind that clearly and completly explains damage (how much armor it removes for example), criticals (frequency and effects), component HP, component explosions, armor HP, and structure HP? I have read everything I can find and it is just not clear enough for me to get it. I have asked others and have received a mixed bag of answers. Thank you!

Are you going to re-impliment the collisions? They were fine as they were before you guys axed them completely, giving the Sonic-cosplayers a reason to play a little more cautiously and giving the bargearse Assaults a weapon against the Lights and Mediums that outgun them.
If not, why not?
Is it because the current no-clipping through everyone, with the lag that accompanies it for both parties involved, considered a preferable alternative?

What is current consideration for Clans for the future? Do you see them as a PC faction type, NPC opponent or just as premium or rare Mech and Equpment variations?

1. Has there been any update on when DX11 will be implemented? Haven't seen any updates in the forums on this issue.

2. How is the optimization for dual core support coming along?

4.) Somewhere was talked about getting a bigger map than the ones that already exist. As I think that everyone else is curious about what kind of map that might be (maybe it's the desert map? ) , I think everyone is also interested at knowing when that map might be released?

So, what map and when? :huh:

Garth, what are your plans for progressing with the timeline? Do you still think that following the canonical timeline (Clan invasion in march 2013/3050 etc.) is a good idea? With Community Warfare coming at the earliest some weeks before the invasion, do you still plan to follow through with the 1:1 progression? (I'm quite neutral on this issue, I just want to know the Dev's viewpoint on this).

didnt check if this one wasnt mentioned earlier..but hopefully not :huh:

I would like to know, if there will be some premade group recognition in the game
for example..now theyre all default "white" (when you hit TAB).
It would be great if there was some kind of colour recognition for premades and pugs.
So every pug in the group will know even without voice com that hes in the group with 3 premades and 1 pug...etc.
Now most premades goes by theyre own and dont care about some pugs,
some of the players would know that they have to stick with those groups...(or follow them) :)
I mean it would be much usefull for everybody ;)

the next one, is probably just rhetorical question.
will there be numerical values for the speed throtle (1-10) like in old mw or mwll?
and will there be targeting an friendly unit assign key?

thats it for me now :P

Is it considered wrong to ride other mechs into battle? For example, jump jetting a catapult ontop of a hunchback and using them as your mighty steed to fight other mechs with - and if it isn't is there a chance of having lances added to the game for the jousting sport that will eventually rise from this?

Will we get more, more detailed stats once we can play with full teams again? Or how about a stat wipe?

Why is the convergence so bad with PPCs? I made my Cataphract-3D into a Davion Warhammer, and the left gun would miss left, while the right went right, over and over again. You guys seem to think 9 medium lasers should always hit the same spot, why not the PPCs?

How do you think the game will change once the "just one jump jet" exploit goes away?
