I believe it was PGI's poor design decision with limiting ECM distribution that will limit the number of desirable mech variants for serious competitive play from 43 to 5... Not the community's.

It was the rage of some of the community on a single afternoon when hearing about this moved that number down from 5 to 4.

I think the community would be more calm and less frustrated if it would have more sex.

The interesting thing is, when I joined these forums about half a year ago or so, they were like the promised land of internet culture.

I was surprised how helpful and friendly this community was. Then it grew bigger and bigger and became worse and worse.

Maybe it was because in the beginning there were mostly BT fans in here, I do not know. But I realised it is quite easy to get infected with toxic behaviour myself.

Hopefully the well mannered people will return and BT newbies like me will make a turn around to better behaviour and more constructive criticism and dialogue...

Those people never left.

They just became bitter husks of the men they once were, stripped of hope in the game, they have turned to more barbaric ways.

Yeah...I was a Founder but I decided not to start playing until my friends did in Open Beta. They're burned out and I've become a bitter and jaded husk of a man. I've noticed I've been quite nice in helpful when talking about the Awesome and long range energy weapons but on the other hand I've had to deal with Streak/LRM Warrior online.

Apparently I'm a scrub and need to L2P if I don't enjoy watching Atlas with x3 LRM 15s lob missiles at each other for an entire match or get singled out by a flying chain-firing homing missile parade

We're the posters PGI deserves, not the ones they need.

For one side to stop killing the other, one side has to first stop killing the other.

If you want to stop the insults on the forum, don't respond with more insults.

Two wrongs don't make a right

You are COMPLETELY WRONG about that!!!

And now that I've corrected you, I'm sure you will see that I'm right.

I hope that was suppose to be sarcastic or something, if not I think your thinking of a different forum. Is this one the worst no, but it's not mature or respectful.

I have a question. How can a community, that has no say what so ever in how the game is designed, ruin it?

When dev's give in the stupid amount of whining about things most have no clue on. So not just the communities fault but also the Dev's for listening. This game hasn't been to bad for it (cept for matching making and some of the missle buffs) but other games have been really bad for listening to the unqualified.

The MWO forums provide me with more entertainment than TV sometimes. :)
