Official Communication From The Primus Of Comstar!

As you're all well aware, there have been bots, hacking and attempts to defraud the ComStar Bills monetary systems through multiple channels. ComStar cannot, and will not let this happen and have ordered the Com Guards to eliminate any so called ‘mercenaries’ daring to do so. Their BattleMechs will be melted down and forged into UrbanMechs.
If you're aware of any plot against ComStar, do not hesitate to send any screenshots or proof you might have to our Support Team of ComGuards, as they are the first source of information for our army to track down the traitors.
Be sure to provide the following information:
-Time/date (and time zone)
-Map
-Mech used
-List of offending players

The Devs ought to make a giant Urban mech...like at least 3-5 times larger then any mech in game...drop into a game the person they are going to ban is playing, call them out on their infractions then kill them with the giant urbie...and ban them.

Please define "proof". I have no facility to capture video, and without that it's my word versus theirs. I'll submit names of suicide farmers to support@mwomercs.com, but there's no point in doing so if you need more proof than me just throwing names at you.
Soooo... how does this work? Are names useful? I've got two at the moment, and of course everyone knows Duke Nukem.

Reporting the names (and time/date if you can) is certainly better than nothing.
Also, FRAPS is a free tool you can use to capture both video and screenshots.

Evga precision x, and msi afterburner graphics card overclocking utilities both have a screen capture mode.

As does fraps, and gamebooster 3.5 beta, and the new razer gamebooster beta.

Razer gamebooster beta sign up http://www.razerzone.com/gamebooster

I suggest everyone run gamebooster, because it shuts down unnecessary processes and frees up ram...making your game run better....and many of us need that desperately for this game. IT DOES WORK

DEVS - it would be good to outline the FULL process in more details once it is fully defined, I know you are working on a better system and await it.
I have noticed a drop in farmers over the last few days.

I have been in dozens of drops where this Duke Nukem will kill himself and declare that he can "do this all day"
I have screen shots of his chats after his suicides.
Too bad that the devs cant make it so anyone who kills them self in a game within the first minute, get charged an amount of XP and c-bills that he would have made during a regular match win. (ie lose 500xp and 110k+ c-bills)

I wonder, is it better than nothing to report names and date/times? Because surely many people have reported Duke Nukem already, and he's still around and kicking. I called out "Chieokure ko no" last night when a match started and someone else chimed in "oh, he's an old suicider, been here forever".
I'm happy to report people, but only if things actually get done. I'm not going to be that guy in Lost who sent all his daily reports in, only to have them pop out a tube somewhere in a discarded pile.
So, my question for PGI is: are names and date/times enough information to ban the cheaters?
As for FRAPS, I would rather not run utilities like that while playing an online game. Stability is already shaky enough without me introducing another app into the mix!

Good luck. Perhaps someday we can get get 8 person drops again. The game is challenging enough with the lag making ballistic weapons unusable for me.

Their system uses stats tracking, and when a player is reported they are put under expanded stats tracking. They will be caught, not insta banned, but dealt with.
