please take this seriously as a method for reducing in-game botting/farming and illegal macro usage.
is it possible by using a in game in hud "captcha" login code. ie: a 4 digit code (like captcha) that only appears on the hud when count down starts, to reduce the use of illegal activities.
here's how i see it working.
1. after count down starts a 4 digit code appears on the screen.
2. this 4 digit code acts like a security code to access your mech, like in the novels before you can unlock the systems and start up you need to punch in these numbers to "unlock" the HUD.
3. so all you have to do is type in the 4 numbers that show up on your screen to get you mech moving...
4. however if you don't unlock your mech, you'll get nothing. it also wont cost you anything, but you'll also earn NOTHING. no cbills, no xp...
i would ask for this to be taken seriously and for there to be an mature, adult discussion about pro's and cons to a system, that would implement this or similar measures for deterring inappropriate activities.

However, a code to authenticate or some such is, in my humble opinion, ridiculous....

clicking buttons in a sequence can be done with a macro, which is what the op is trying to guard against.
I'm not sure I like the idea, but I'm not really against it either.

it's very simple. you do no damage. you get nothing
that stops bots and ppl dropping and intentionally overheating.
problem solved.
