It is just so satisfying when you finally get the chance to land an AC/20 slug into a Jenner's face... or a damned Commando's back.

All other kills aside, i enjoy that far more than anything else. That pesky little Jenner/Commando getting melted is just the best feeling in this game.

oh i know that feeling.. slowly stomping over to shoot a standing jenner in the back with your double LBX 10s, the stepchild of all ACs and watch that pesky little scout topple over... ahh good times ;)

(tbh that's not a sign for a particularly good pilot if you manage to do that in a cataphract 4x :))

I don't know ... I'm rather fond of the slow collapse of the big lumbering Atlas myself....

i think any game where you can exchange your arm for a cannon and destroy all other vehicles in your vicinity is incredibly satisfying. After all that's what we daydream about at 6am on our way to work right?

Oh heck yeah. About the only thing that even comes close to the feeling of demolishing a jenner for me is finding a streakcat all by itself when I'm in my raven. ;) It's sooooo satisfying to take down one of those infuriating little squirrels, when you can get through the lagshield at least.

I'd have to say last night, my most satisfying kill was rounding a corner while going back to base on FC cause 2 commandos were capping...standing still. Did you know stationary commando domes are INCREDIBLY easy to peg with gauss?...They are. Good times when the lag shield doesn't save a usually annoying little pissant of a mech from eating a gauss to the dome and just falling over. 2nd one ran off, but mission accomplished.

I'm holding out for stomping on the face of a light that i just knocked down. Sooner or later curb stomping will exist....

it is satisfying not because I hate lights but just that they are so hard to hit when they are zooming around.

Ahhhhhhhhhh soooooooo many ;)

Some of the best.... Taking out a comando in one alpha when he came round the corner of the cave in the ice city map! Flat on his back :-P Alpha was UAC5, Guass, 2 Mlas, 3 SRM6's hehe

ANother was before the patch and took a streak cat out as he jetted off hahaha. He dropped right out of the sky's

Atlas pilot here obviously. Waiting for full list of the mechs be out before i buy 3 other varient mechs. Spider looks interesting........

I was feeling pretty awful about how slowly I was learning the stock AWS-8Q today so I took the HBK-4P for a run and got all of the kills in the match and 50% of the total damage. So I'd say the most satisfying type of kill is the kind you do to the entire enemy team! ;)

I think the most satisfying thing would be to kill a fresh atlas in one salvo, by putting everything in his eye. I've yet to do this, but I'm tryin'.

The most satisfying kills are:
  • Hitting a circling light with Gauss or AC/20. Never saw that one coming. "Try to hit me, try to hit me, I got lag shield!" *blam* Most of the times I don't hit anything because of the lag shooting that is necessary, but when I do, it feels great ;)
  • Killing one or two mechs when you are the last of your team and the whole enemy team decides to take a detour just to kill you instead of capping the base. You thought it would be an easy kill, didn't you? Now you wish you'd capped instead of hunting that last survivor, right?
  • Steamrolling cheesed-up mech builts. It's just godly to rush with some team mates through the tunnel and surprise a Streak- or Gausscat that can't even fire two salvos before going down.

My most satisfying kill was turning around and blowing out the cockpit of some douche on my team that decided to shoot me in the back. He tried to make some excuse afterwards, but when the game just started and I'm not even moving yet, I tend to believe that it's deliberate, and respond in kind.

I can't count the legs I've blown out from under a light...and it still makes me smile....

...what does kind of annoy me is that by the time my main weapons recycle, 3/4 of the guys its been harassing have already unloaded 1,000 points of alphas on it and I rarely get to finish what I started.

Sounds almost as fun as cockpiting a jenner with dual gauss while is running at 149kph... never run in strait lines..

Unloading LBX10s into someone from behind is always good, as it that awesome finishing shot from a AC2 or 5 on a retreating foe.

Landing a pair of Large Lasers straight into the same torso section is also a really good feeling.

For me nothing beats that moment whe both you and your enemy is cored and you get the laser or UAC 5 shot that kills him right before he gets ya... thats the best.

In a 2 on 1 fight I killed 2 6xSSRM Cats with my Raven 3L outfitted with ECM, 1LLas, 1MLas and SRM6. They never had a chance.. I should have named my Raven Cheesebuild-killah.

Also running solo counter ECMing and targeting an Atlas DC surrounded by his friends (that where shooting the crap out of me and eachother) so my team could rain down a cloud of LRM death on him to take out the Assault ECM mech was quite the show. Was even worth loosing my Raven. Got quite some damage done and their team was all but standing after a few minutes.

Raven 3L ECM - Where are your autoaim rockets now? F*CK YEAH!

Not a satisfying direct kill, but I find it amusing to blast the arms off of a Cataphract that's dakadaka-ing with AC/2's, then watching team mates leap all over it like a bunch of rabid honey-badgers.
