We are a gaming group that has been playing games together in some fashion or another for the last 7+ years (formerly known as TRx in games like PlanetSide, WoW, or Global Agenda). You can read more about us from our forums. The bottom line is we're just a group of gamers who enjoy playing games with like-minded, similarly skilled individuals. After all, games are meant to be played for fun.

We're not entirely sure whether we're going to be a Merc Corp or a Faction Unit yet. It will depend on what bonuses, if any, either gets as well as the way they function. We're all about having fun, but winning tends to be more fun than losing. We can be pretty competitive and we tend to joke around with each other a lot. Our goal for MWO is simply to be competitive in Community Warfare, 8/12 person drops, any tournaments or leagues we may join, etc.

If any of this interests you please feel free to friend me in game, drop by our forums and post an application (or even just posting if you have any inquiries), send me a message through these forums, or even just reply to this thread. There is also a (albeit it not the best) chat feature currently in game: If you double click someone on your friend's list (when they aren't currently in a game), or double click group members while in a group, it will open up a chat with the corresponding people.

Once a correspondence of some sort is established, we'll we'll try to get you in a group and on Mumble and see where it goes from there. While we mostly have a laid back atmosphere, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. It's very possible we may try to work with people if we see potential in them, but ultimately we expect people to be able to keep up. Please don't let this deter you from trying to join, or even just grouping up. And if you don't make it the first time you can always apply again later; provided we didn't part on bad terms.

Sounds good, I added you in game. I'm going to edit my original post to include this, but there's also a chat feature in game which many people don't know seem to know about (probably because it's not really explained anywhere). If you double click someone on your friend's list you are able to open up a chat with them if they aren't currently in a game. You're also able to do this in groups for a group chat as well.

Randomly ran into TopDawg in-game while I was pugging for the hell of it. Said they needed one more for 8's and asked for volunteers.

Thought 'what the hell, why not' and jumped onto mumble with Horizon. Good bunch of people and great pilots. You will learn a lot playing with this group.

This sounds exactly what I like. I'm familiar with grouping, different roles for different play styles, strategy, I use Ventrilo and Teamspeak. I'm an older player and have decades of gaming under my belt.

Still looking to get better at this game...playing with the best means bringing your best.

So far we've added some great pilots to our roster and are still seeking a few more. Currently we are in need of good Light Mech pilots, but will always accept a skilled pilot regardless.

Hey there, I'm a long time veteran of the tabletop and am finding the meta game here to be very similar.

I'd love to be part of a group that was staying organized. Currently I'm focusing on my light mech skills, I really enjoy piloting that raven (my preferred configuration has ALWAYS been the 2x) ...that 81kph large laser

But having played endless 5v5 scenarios on the tabletop I know I need a well organized team in order to really have fun and get the most out of the game.

As Coraxes said, we are still looking for a few more Light pilots, though we are always on the lookout for all around good pilots. At this point we're mostly looking to solidify a stable roster to continue playing 8s, but also and most importantly, in preparation for Community Warfare.

Unfortunately being selective with recruiting means we won't accept everyone, but we're typically pretty friendly and will play with almost anyone. We don't really have a trials system in place yet (if ever), so essentially we'll just do some drops together, get you on Mumble, and get a feel for one another.
