I almost choked laughing.
Bless 'em, there arent always enough people around to get a full 8 man teams in. Besides, pugging keeps my perspective on the game. Team play is where I have the most fun though.

I haven't had this much fun in a video game in a long time.
Long story short: How the hell do you join a premade? Is there a lobby I am not seeing? Secret handshake? Not that anyone wants a commando ssrm/laser/tag monkey cluttering up their drop ship, but it would be nice to know how when I don't suck.

Did I say you WERE or WEREN'T running in 8 man premades. No I simply asked a question and pointed out a general flaw in the argument being made if a player (see no specific accusation) was as good as you (simply using your example of prowess as a baseline) should probably not say anything critical about an action they were participating in while implying others would be doing the same (if it doesn't apply to you it doesn't, but it does apply to some on this thread).
The I asked two questions because i made no assumptions about your gaming preferences. You'll note the If's, that usually means a question. I admit it may have seemed rhetorical, it was not.
I mean really I would worry more about comprehension of the post before you trying to dismiss something quasi-intellectual. Clearly stated points in full sentences is just good form.

Look for the stickies about the open Teamspeak servers. Best way to get into the 8v8 side of MWO.

For the record I have never complained about Organized teams. I will actually be part of one once CW comes online.
I have complained about the PuGs that do not fight, and choose to farm or derp around the battlefield getting blown to bits. A bad player is a bad player regardless of how they drop.

You said it brother.
This is the reason I am so greatful to have 8 v 8 premades.
Phase one was nothing short of moron lottery with the victory going to whatever team had fewer bads/bots/suiciders/teamkillers and disconnects.
At least now when a team has a loss they know it was for one reason (barring disconnects and bugs) that reason was the other team played better.
You will always learn more from a loss vs another 8 man premade than you could possibly gain from crushing pugs.

Agree. If you have the time and willingness to play with others, finding a good group is key for experiencing the game to the fullest.

So tell me then are you rolling the trial mechs or are you going to step up and play with the Pro leagues?
I mean obviously that's the right thing to do rather than blacklist an entire segment of the population with an accusation you have little evidence of. Does it happen sure, is it as common as made out, doubtful.
The real question is not how many people will panzy out and go back to the pugs it's will you and the other critics find your balls and up your game?
Oh please, he neither blacklisted anyone, nor said he wouldn't drop in 8 man groups. He called out some of the crappier groups we've all seen over the last 5 months for what they do, don't ignore it, it just makes you look bad.
While I know the benefits of groups, I can also respect the reasons for why people pug, or even just pull up in a repair free money making trial mech if K/D isn't their ego trip. Acting like he didn't have a point, and going off on a tangent just makes groups look worse.
Don't do us any favors thanks.

Amazing first post!!! With attitude like that, I am sure lots of people will be happy to have you in their drop, commando and all, welcome to the game.

Well at least you see it, you have to admit: It's hilarious how all you see in this thread, are premade guys hi-fiving each other about the change on every page... That did not go as expected eh

I say this after about 8 losses (complete stomps) vs. 2 wins last night on 8v8 drops.

One way to do it is to wait till full moon and sacrifice an AFKer puggie on your front lawn at midnight, or you could go to http://mwomercs.com/...orp-recruiting/ and check which units are currently recruiting...whichever is easier for you.

Those of us that enjoy the challenge are happy with the 8 vs 8 addition. Unfortunately, sometimes our group size is not exactly 8 so we are still playing with pugs.
