Its all about volume  Give me a CustomerSupport email... and I'll send them my greivances.

We are allowed to hold the developers accountable for horrible decisions.

I approve this post.

How do they expect me to take them seriously as a company when they lie to the consumer?

I think people skimmed that post a tad too much.

The c-bill modules are 2-time use, each. The mc module is a 1-time, larger use.

Buying a single Tier 2 CB module grants you more cooling than a single Tier 3 MC module, it just breaks it up into 2 uses.

You're not losing a module slot for no benefit. You lose a module slot to get a second 35% burst.

Vlad, the c-bill modules are 15% and 20% @ 10 heat sinks together. It isn't 35% and 35%.

Its strictly worse.

non-consumable module slots are permanent.
consumable ones need to be repurchased.
do you know anyone who's going to be buying MC coolant flushes and air strikes for EVERY SINGLE match they play?

You greatly underestimate people with more money than brains.

unless, of course, the people sponsoring the tournament dont allow MC consumables...

*gasp*

hold on, i'll give you a minute to digest the LOGIC

So, in a game where they are pushing e-sports, they're introducing things that they won't allow in e-sports? Yeah, that's really logical...

it doesn't even last a single fight, then why even have it?[Garth]

I think this is the important part. In the proposed implementation, it won't even last a single fight, so why even have it? Even compared with the current line up of modules, coolant seems like an especially bad one to me.

So ... what's the big deal?

this is incorrect,

you get on 15% flush and one 20% flush vs 1 35% flush and a loss of a extra range targeting, or target decay or 360 target retention etc. etc.

HRR Insanity,
You're a great Forum Warrior but frankly you're an awful Mech Warrior. Leave the Beta Testing to those who give a damn about this game, and go find some other game to troll on about.

I don't know if my math is off, or if it's PGI's math that is off, but subtracting 15% followed by 20% is NOT the same as subtracting 35%:
100 - 15% = 85
85 - 20% = 68

100 - 35% = 65

68 != 65

They clarified that, at least.

Too bad this is still absolutely terrible.

Hey PGI: I made you an easy solution: Make all three of them available for C-Bills and MC.

The problem is that the large coolant takes 1 module slot, while to get a similar effect c-bill players need 2 module slots.

no, not to get a "similar effect"
you get the same effect.
your heat is dissipated.
you can still do a 25% per 10 heatsink flush with just 1 module slot, still have all the rest open for whatever you want, AND STILL BE EQUAL WITH 99.9% OF THE PEOPLE YOU PLAY WITH AND AGAINST.

this mentality that EVERYONE EXCEPT YOU will be buying MC consumables is beyond ********. im amazed you can function a keyboard

Did you miss the bit about the free flushes being worse than the paid flush?

You'll be able to flush 15% of your heat (more, based on your heat sinks).
Then you can flush 20% (more, based on your heat sinks)
A paid player can flush 35% (more, based on his heat sinks).

Oh, and for the cost of your two flushes? He gets an artillery barrage, too. A big one. Or an air strike. Or a capture accelerator.

There is no world in which two flushes is better than 1 + something else.

Did you read Paul's second post, you didn't did you? No, you didn't. Go ahead, I'll let you do that right now.

And in my D-DC, I still get the perks of all that. This is going to be great. It was fun being in the ninety-nine percentile on my Atlas before, it is going to be even better now that I don't even need to slowdown because of my heat.

show us what you can do since you can do so much better...

oh that right...you cant.. now leave

Do you honestly think this game is long for the world when this sort of decision is being made?

No one will be here if this sort of decision-making continues.

You break it up into 20% and 15%, as opposed to a single 35% cooldown. I can't imagine a situation wherein I would prefer two small cooldowns over a single cooldown.

And you know what? If the C-bill two-module thing is really AS GOOD because you can stagger cooldowns, why not just make all three coolant flush modules purchasable with c-bills?
