I thought the same thing actually
we CANT EVEN BETA TEST IT but "here comes coolant flush!"

It is because we are not the beta tester anymore. There is a group of people that are the true beta testers. We are stress testers who catch bugs that their closed group of testers miss.

Great, another 100% P2W game. I wish I could return my founders package.

I have no words, no humor, and no pics for that.

I'm just sad.

I'm only opposed to it as far as the consumable aspect comes into play. That's just not something that I see working well within the current system.

Otherwise I don't mind the idea of a coolant flush, even if its limited to uses per match.

Gold ammo in MWO.

This is serious crap.

wow.

I'm shocked.

PAUL SAYS:

Eeesh. Saw some numbers people were throwing around and this needs clarification now....

CB Coolant Flush Tier 1 = 15% cooling of TOTAL heat on your Mech.
CB Coolant Flush Tier 2 = 20% cooling of TOTAL heat on your Mech.
TOTAL cooling of your Mech is 35%.

MC Coolant Flush = 35% cooling of TOTAL heat on your Mech.

Look at it this way, you get the SAME TOTAL heat dissipation on BOTH purchase methods. The C-bill one gives you the opportunity to dump twice in 1 match at the cost of a module slot.

---

You lose 2 module slots, MC you use 1 module slot.

When arty strikes are in, you lose even more slots... so good thing there bro... totaly not PTW...

SO.

SAD.

Can I lick your face? I want to know what true and silent tears taste like. It's like I'm watching your house burn down because your boss threw a cigarette into it before riding his limousine into the sunset.

Huh... look at that... a list of concerns they most likely addressed in order to make these a viable, balanced option.

So they made an MC Coolant Flush that takes up less space than the weaker cbill version to make it easier to boat other MC only modules.

Yup, you were right, they certainly addressed my concerns with a balanced option!

1) they are consumeable so each mech can carry 2 max. 3 with the master unlock. and some onle have 1 like the hbk 4p. so you cant go in to a match with a dozen of these things.

2) it clearly said mc OR c-bills. maybe they will be 100000 or maybe a million either way it wont be unatainable for non paying players. but i would bet they will make it cost at least as much as a winning player earns over several matches. otherwise everyone would be dropping them once a match. my mc estimate would be about 75 or about 30 something cents.

do you all seriously think that is an issue?

Yeah like WoT which I left.

Can the module be hit by weapons, and if so, does it cool you down?

Yes, coolant flush as a consumable is coming. No, there isn't too much reason for freaking out over that since its true to the BT lore as a consumable and since PGI will undoubtedly make it expensive. Just chill everyone! (yes pun)

Your title should be "Stay Coole and Continue to Play". :P

"Consumables come in tiered levels of the core function that the item provides. C-Bill purchased items will have 2 stages. MC purchased items will have 1 stage."

Look at that crap.

Now we have "gold ammo", called coolant flush. PGI, you ungrateful... You've promised us you never will create an P2W-based item.. Now there is. Quitting MWO after the next patch, good job!

I still have a sneaking suspicion that Coolant Pods and Coolant Flush are two different things. I will die laughing if, considering the time period, it summons a coolant truck and you have to stay still to get 'hooked up to the truck' and have your system flushed out. Then take coolant flush, please, use it often. I like it when mechs stand still.
