I primarily see this as an example of PGI still finding their feet - they fixed LRM warrior in a 2 day hotfix, but ECM warrior is with us for a while as they need to collect heavy data to figure out how to make this work and re-read the TT on the item to bring proper implementation.
Hopefully by release of the game PGI will have a proper test server up that anyone can join and pre-test their upcomming patches to avoid these fiascos in the future.

It always was. I hope it stays too technical for the CoD people.
We can only hope.
I mean it would be just too much to ask for ONE shooter game that requires a brain, right?
And if I could train 14 year old kids to lag shoot in MW3 using IN GAME CHAT! ,
surely people can figure out MWO.
Any game you can master in a day or two is not worth playing for any extended period of time.
There is a reason we played MW3 far beyond it's maker's intended life.
And it wasn't because it was easy.
Looking forward to when we can 1 v 1 Stonewall.
When we can we should make a video of two fast movers that can hit each other at a combined approach speed of almost 300 kph.
Nothing we haven't done before..........

Yes children, it takes practice.
Lots and lots of practice.

This is bullcrap. The OP is complaining the over reliance on lances and teamwork but all he's been doing is hiding behind his team and shoot at the enemy. You HAVE been using "teamwork" where you used your teammates as meatshields while you collect the damage and kills. Now they have to do an actual coordinated effort where they have to actively help you instead of unwittingly be your sacrificial goats.
Guess what, those games from before weren't fun for the meatshields either. They don't get kills for taking the riskier position and be on the frontlines. They just see you sitting your *** behind a rock and pressing button to get kills. They would end up fitting LRMboats themselves then the game becomes lobbing missiles at each other from the distance, which it did before ECM.
ECM have its problems but the fact that it's killing the playstyle of people like you is a good thing. Next time you want to feel awesome or badass at this game, be something that actually helps your team and take risks.
