Greetings Mechwarrior,

Comstar has seen fit to assign an Investment and insurance Director Class III to your case.

No longer will you need worry for the care of your mechs from a financial standpoint. In order to protect the little remaining technology here in the sphere of man, a portion of all contracts accepted will be paid directly to a 3rd party account with the Greater Comstar Bank and Trust. This investment will be used as capital to finance projects, such as humanitarian needs and infrastructure recovery throughout the sphere of man for a nominal interest fee.

That interest, will then, in part be paid back with subsequent payments from all mechwarriors across the galaxy to the fund. This then will be used for repairs, equipment maintenance and ammunition for the great houses, their soldiery and mercenaries in contract.

You will never be dispossessed, your material wealth is protected.

We at Comstar are proud to remain as neutral parties (for now), while assuring that future generations of noble mechwarriros to come will be capable and equipped for battle at a moments notice.

GCBT IIDC III - Faulk Winham

(Sometimes delivery means something, hope you enjoyed it)

"Previous thread closed? I'll make another about the lack of repairs, but veil it under a story!"

Good letter though. The lack of repair seems to only promote top builds, not thrifty Mechs.

Hmm.. More like finding a way to live with the consequences I am presented with and having a little fun with it.
If PGI sees fit to lock a thread I start, I don't disguise or pull punches, they have their reasons, I have mine, I don't get locked often. I was simply trying to create a little levity about the whole thing.

It worked, and I'm just making fun too. The whole economy thing is going to cut my profits in half, even after the removal if repairs! I ran light scout Mechs on purpose, so they can take a beating and be cheap to repair. Now, I'll add ferro and all the expensive things I can add. Just because I don't have to worry about the maintenance costs.

That's because of all the doom and gloom speculating that is going on. Let the patch drop, THEN provide feedback.
