Then what video are you watching? I lead the target, hit the button, wait, it fires, and just before the missiles hit, the Jenner jumps about 20m to the left.

In the video I saw you keep the crosshairs right on top of a moving target, failing to lead it, in three of the four instances, and your missiles quite naturally therefore fell short. In the third shot you actually fired over the target because you failed to realize a Jenner is about half the height of a Catapult.

Then you need glasses or morals, one.

The fact that the only reason you can think of to post on the forum about a game mechanic being unbalanced is to try to metagame your way into a more powerful build says more about you than it does about me.

Let me guess: You were one of the guys in here whinging about not being able to kill a streakcat in your Jenner, because everyone knows that Jenners are supposed to be able to kill anything, right?

This response relies heavily on the same logic; that streakcats are supposed to be able to kill Jenners. So you're guilty of having the same mentality as the person you berate. A properly equipped and played Jenner should and will destroy a streakcat.

Rarely have i happened upon a streakcat i couldnt take down either using the cityscape or plugging away with a couple Mlas from the edge of 270m... it takes some time and certainly some patience, but 1v1 a Jenner will beat a Streakcat, as will a Raven and Commando. When they take 2 LRM15s and 4 SSRM2s that's a different beast.

Well, now hold on; I said that you could build to counter things, and that's what you are talking about. In general, a streakcat should be good for killing lights not set up specifically to kill it.

Yep, used to do that myself, but a lot of people seemed to have difficulty with that concept.

I usually took 1xLRM20 to keep 5xSSRM2, but yea, always surprised those fast lights who would run just out of range and turn to see the LRMs coming in ;)
