i will be playing as a light mech because the only thing that can easily take down a high speed mech is another high speed mech prefferably a faster one. and like the great battleships of old assault mechs and some of the larger heavies have a glaring vulnerability they are easily bested by a more mobile smaller mech especcially if that mobile little mech is attacking in a group.

Lights, since I love playing scout. One notable exception will be the catapult, since I also love playing Arty.

I fully intend on going with assault. I'd be bloody ecstatic if the King Crab made it into the game. At other times, I'd probably wander around the battleground in a heavy, providing support.

i love fighting people like you assault mech pilots with your mentality always are the most dramatic when they lose there big guns one by one. and in the end are powerless and limping around the battlefield with just about everything crippled or destroyed as the little insect they thought they could easily squash is toying with them and stinging them until eventually they get bored and destroy the last leg your standing on and move on to the next foe. my advice if you insist on being a big target choose one that isnt easily rendered helpless dont play as the mauler pick the atlas instead.

i'm probably going to use a mix depedning on how i feel. but i can garuntee this i will be using some of my favorite mechs

Dragon or Centy, not sure which. Hit and run, scout destroyer, harasser.... I'll figure it out eventually.

gotta say this was a hard pick, as i mentioned in my first ever post i've only ever played mw4: mercs. I had a lot of fun running around in the crab or a nova cat. beam boat for life!

Slot 1: Catapult K2. If I can't have a Warhammer, then this is the next best thing.
Slot 2: Dragon if I can put a AC20 or SSRMs on it, if not Hunchback 4G. I like my fast close range Brawlers
Slot 3: Awesome 8V. Nice mix of weapons systems.
Slot 4: not sure yet, maybe a heavily modified Cicada. Who needs light mechs when you have a medium that can go 118+KPH.

I dunno, total newb to battlemech universe other than some hazy old play throughs of mechassault 1&2 on the original xbox, but the concept is familiar, I could probably do alright in any class. I'd probably end up mostly in medium though.
