Do you have a mechbay full of old, slow, underquirked IS assault mechs that haven't seen the light of day since 3050? Can't wait for a Solaris arena to get your brawl on? Well look no further! This is the event for you.
What: A 1v1 to 4v4 or FFA IS Assault bout held in a grid square featuring large standard engines and the smallest weapons in the game held in private match
Whats legal:
Any IS Assault mech
Any standard engine
Cooldown, range, and cool shot modules
Small laser, srm2, Machine gun, Flamer (Hard cap of four for each weapon. EG: if you have a mech with 6 energy slots you can ONLY take 4 Small lasers and would have to use flamers to fill the other slots and vice versa)
Endo, Ferro, Double Heat Sinks
Whats not:
Any weapon other than the four listed
More than four of any single type of the approved weapons
Any consumable beyond coolshots.
Whats encouraged:
Amazingly offensive camo schemes
A desire to spend a lot of c-bills on a standard 400 engine and flamer modules
Bringing beer for all

Hi steam people! As long as you're not an over-caffeinated 12 year old who speaks only in racial slurs, stop on by and check us out!
We concentrate on having fun, making horrible jokes at each other's expense, and consuming the most inappropriately named drinks on the planet all while working together to wreck the other guy's face. We're Davion loyalists and have a bit of a reputation for being good players (though somewhat loose canons). If this sounds like you, jump onto TS and hang out. You'll be scared out of your mind in 5 minutes, or a lifetime subscriber. Either way, you'll know if we're right for you.

Well the Steam launch is now upon us so I would first like to welcome all the new players that will hopefully come to enjoy this game and the Battletech IP as much as I have over the years. If you are reading this thread then you have come to the wise conclusion that to truly get the most out of this game you should join a unit. This couldn't be more true and further you have started or ended your search in House Davion. Which IMHO is another excellent choice. While I hope you will consider trying out with this unit I can honestly say that you really can't make a bad choice here among the many fine units you will find in House Davion.
If you have chosen to be a member of House Davion I would highly recommend giving C4 a try. We have no play time requirements so play as much or as little as you want. We are a non-comp team so there are no required practices or mechs you need to run as a member of our unit. Members play in a lose and relaxed setting where our main goals are to kill big stompy robots and have fun doing it.
Pilots of all skill levels are welcome (recruits must be 18yrs or older) and we totally understand when real life issues need to come first (school, work, kids, girlfriend/boyfriend, wife, or girlfriend and wife we don't judge
). We have quite a few members that are both former and current military although that's not a requirement and a small group of EU players.
One of the things that sets C4 apart from other groups in MWO is that while we have ranks and officers we don't have a rigid unit structure that tells players who they play with or what mechs they drive. While we do have unit colors we also never require players to spend real life money on this game just to be part of the unit. It's also worth mentioning that with some gaming groups they're here today and gone tomorrow. With C4 that's not something you'll need to worry about. This unit has been active in MWO since Closed Beta some 3 years ago and our officers have been gaming together for over 10 years with many of us knowing each other in real life.

So the stocking stuffer event now offers rewards for 75 CW events. Dropping CW solo is... ill advised. First is the wait, being in a 12 person group puts you at the front of the line. Second is random pugs vs. an organized opponent, which typically turns into a slaughter, and you might not even get your 100 points as you get smashed.

Happy New Year MWO!!!
Well we are about to start on another exciting year of MWO. We have new maps and mechs coming right out the gate and CW Phase 3 hopefully just around the corner. This is a great time to be a BattleTech/MechWarrior fan. It's also the perfect time if your looking to join a group.
While I may be a bit biased,
I would highly recommend giving C4 a try if what you are looking for if a fun place to shoot stompy robots. C4 is a House Davion Loyalist unit that plays in a loose and relaxed setting (no screaming about loses or dumb pugs). What we are is a great group of pilots at all skill levels (Tier 1-5) that get together almost every night to have a great time playing MWO. If you are just starting out and need help learning the game or are a solo veteran looking for a team you'll find a place here.
Recruits must be 18yrs or older and we totally understand when real life issues need to come first (school, work, kids, girlfriend/boyfriend, wife, or girlfriend and wife we don't judge). Well Big Tin is correct. C4 will be doing CW drops every Saturday evening starting at 8pm est and going until ceasefire or we run out of alcohol,,,,who am I kidding we have never yet run out of alcohol.

C4's next CW Drop Night will start Saturday Jan 16th at 8pm est and run until ceasefire. So come on out and join us in defending the planets of House Davion.
