Thats the UAC's gimmick. Single shots and no jam, dual shots and at the mercy of RnG. If you use single shots, it still has a slight adv over AC5, but not tremendous. This means BOTH ac5 and UAC5 have a place in the arsenal. If you live Las Vegas on the edge, you get some extra DPS outta it.

Maybe a third thread will get them to non-jams and 0.5s cooldowns?

It was UP in the old system so they buffed it... I disagree with the buff and the justification of high jam rates. However I am happy to keep jamming rate in exchange for decreased RoF. This will make the weapon skill based and punish you for pushing it too far.

I run a K2 Cat with 2xUAC5, and have been since August closed beta. The system as is now, is a joke. It fires way too fast, it jams up most of the time, because the RoF is so fast, having the mouse button down a single Iota longer, jams the weapon.

I can't stack three and spread the statistic, I can only stack two.

If this weapon is going to remain RnG pot luck, then I don't want to use it.

Heck, even most Cataphract pilots don't use it, they use other AC's...

Why worry about UAC5's and OP's claims of inventing rythmic firing, when there are P2W Yenlow Wangs roaming premades with 3 MG's and 2 Flamers? That machine is a DPS-o-matron.

PGI is a small group, give them time.

Thinking insults are get your points across? People need to grow up...Anyway...
I play in Aus. Best ping I get on ADSL 2 (no fibre optics ) near CBD is 280 (average of 300). Just trying to hit something with ACs, let alone timing a high ROF UAC5, is next to impossible. Especially considering controls are server side. Lower the ROF, forgive me if I'm wrong Rex, but THAT is the point being made here. At least until net code is fixed.

I can't even believe there is a thread like this. The UAC5 is my favorite weapon in the game, they are awesome. Just learn to count to one slowly after you shoot, repeat.
