With that said, I WOULD like some sort of option to go and check how much damage I'm doing with what and when, more than just the total number at the end of a match. There are many matches where my damage score is much lower than I would expect and I'd like to be able to identify the discrepancy so that I can adjust, both accounting for it play, as well as tweaking the mech if necessary.
However, I would much rather have PGI working on more immediate issues than this right now. As it stands, this is icing, and the cake is a bit fragile yet.

I'm fine with the damage graph.
EDIT: I would like it if I had the option to change it to bar graphs though like in prior games.

The only weapons that aren't as clear are lasers (with bad aim) and missiles. But I don't think we need damage numbers to show up. That is why we have the mech damage displays. Remember this is a sim, some information you're supposed to be blind to.
