I'm not arguing that in game weapon values should be set to mimic certain real life weapons. I simply wanted to put out some numbers for real life cannons to allow for some perspective in discussing their in-game values.

People have been posting the data for weapons for umm....Months...Krivvan was doing it for awhile there.
Lrms need to travel at SRM speeds.

I agree with the trial Awesome. This mech is why I came back to using ppcs. Although I would throw out those lasers in favor of some heatsinks.
Instead of dmg buff and velocity I would like to see to see the famous disruption ability of this cannon.
Not to shutdown hud by maybe increasing for a second locking on and disabling ECM for 2-3 seconds. Also if the mech is struck with ppc it would be nice to see this blue flame I remember from MW4.
A small decrese in heat would be nice though.

Real autocannon round muzzle velocities are upwards from 1000 meters per second. Having this game put them a little higher than that simply seems right, concidering the technology.
