See this is just ridiculous. I am currently producing a new process that is set out to not screw over customers at a Fortune 100 company - but at the end of the day, customers are going to complain, because they feel slighted in some way or another or because we couldn't meet their desire within the confines of the law. It sucks, but that's life, and at the end of the day most customers are going to be happy with the end product.

Game design, essentially, isn't all that different - unless you screw the pooch. I see them making lots of good steps toward balance and newbie experience, and a *long* way to go. I'm patient. Are you guys ? Clearly not. Come back in a year.

Cry me a river. The launch date hasn't changed kid.

I'm not slighted.

I came back after a two month break thinking the game would be more advanced not devolved into this current lazy, common trash fest.

SO, here I am strapping on my lollerskates at the expense of their inability to even have working collision mechanics.

I just realized you're from Canada. This distorts my whole perception of Canadians. =(

Perhaps your comment would matter if you had the courage to post any information about yourself.

Nice try.

Trollpower is weak with this one.

P.S what clued you in to my nationality? All the maple leafs and "Great Canadian Shields" in massive black and red letters or you clicked on my profile?

Well if you feel you've lost a debate perhaps you should rethink your statements before you hit post. I am not going about nitpicking so much as I am showing you exactly what you said and giving you what you wanted. You want something that already exists. I gave it to you. I mean when they have an entire section of the forum discussing the issues of the game and what they intend to do with it your entire "not sufficiently transparent" is kind of a moot point to most rational people.

Short of them privately messaging you with upcoming changes and plans what do you want from them exactly?

It is interesting to me how confidently you asert that the issue I am brining up is a "moot point", yet if you actaully review this thread you will see how many people disagree with that. Making proclamations and beeing pompus does not win debates, it alienates people...think about that.

See I am okay if people actually complain about things not existing yet(collision etc..) I can understand that. What I don't understand is people saying they are covering everything up and hiding it while blatantly ignoring forum sections.

So again I ask, what would you like them to do? What piece of information do you think they are hiding from you? I am trying to help you by alleviating your concerns. Call me what you want that's fine with me. I just want to point you in the right direction so you don't feel this disconnect between players/dev's as I am not having that issue at all.

The state of the game is Beta, its says that on the Splash page. For those of you that say the game is poop well admittedly it has a way to go but being that it is beta it will improve. There are always those in a crowd that are watching a game that will walk out mid game because their team is not winning only to get home and hear that their team won in the last few minutes of the game.
That they give people the option to buy stuff and therefor give them $ to keep going forward does not mean they have finished developing.Walk out mid game if you want.

Um. I live in DC (USA), I'm 32, I have a six figure salary, I'm 6'2, I like blondes and brunettes under 5'6 (avoid redheads, they're crazysauce), my title involves management and analysis, I'm an alcoholic --- I'm basically Tony Stark except without the success or electrode fetish.

There, now that we're introduced - REALLY, How I Met Your Mother convinced me all Canadians were very amenable chaps who just didn't complain. You have shattered my perception. Bravo, sir. Bravo. *slow clap*

Collision used to exist, but they decided to take it out for...some reason.

I don't buy that Dragon bowling was causing such a stir to use that as a rallying point.

People played more responsibly with any form of collision in the game. Yanking it out changed the game dramatically and for the worse.

I think most people could deal with ECM as it currently is if collisions were in the game to put the breaks to mass light swarms all running within a foot of their target.

They'd be scrap.

Collision in the game would make them start acting like the scouts they are supposed to be and not aggressor predators out for some dinner.

So they took their sweet time during the F&F Beta and are what, taking their sweet time now?

Mind you I'm talking about development beta time, not when or how I or you got access to the beta.

Obviously you are unaware of men without fear when it comes to something they are passionate about.

I know that feelings scare most Americans as a consumer society of apathy and solitude breeds you that way, but it does not have to be!
Embrace the dark side! It will make you powerful!

Panzerbunny, collisions will be put back in, they were removed due to issues with the netcode...remember...they posted about it at the time...nothing huh?

Igor, all the things you brought in the original post about weekly updates from the devs and them communicating with us about what's going on, where things stand, what they plan on doing...Gaeb told you where...I stated they are on these forums..you bring up moot points because the things you want are already in place!

You do what you're told. I wouldn't confuse that with some kind of powerful anything.

There are some bad guys over there that threaten your freedom......thousands and thousands of miles away. You should do something about that. *nods*

.
"SEMANTICS" are fun aren't they..... Or in layman's terms "Splitting Hairs"
2013 is literally next month.. I care less for what quarter it is scheduled for release, it's already taking in revenue..
.
A product that is available to the "general public", and has goods and services being sold for "REAL" money is still a product that has been brought to market, finished or not.. "PERIOD"
.
Keep deluding yourself, being in the obvious vocal minority still doesn't make the reality of a situation any less real.
F.Y.I... Noone here is crying, i'm not a kid, and in all likelihood i'm probably old enough to be your Dad, and it shows..
Kiddo...
